a video usually has to be converted to VOB format, I use nero 7 to put avi's to dvds (if your using toreents you should know how to get nero), but now im digital i stream movies from my computer to my tv through my xbox, the only thing is i have to make the sure the avi is Divx or xvid if not i just convert it

hell yeah! this is what I use too, it works great! it takes a little bit, but usually just burn one during the night when i'm not using the computer since it slows it down a lot.
but like i said, this program is prob one of the best, it'll make it so the DVD will play on any DVD player too, it will also convert pretty much any video file format, so far i'm on my 4th hundred pack of DVD's and haven't had a problem yet!
