What have you done to your MSP today?

Greased the bushings on my AXR clunk fix. That fixed the squeak. However, I went ahead and ordered the Energy Suspension 19 mm bushings. I've been reading that they are a better fit and after they break in, they still fit snug.

how do you go about lubricating the bushings up front? when i hit a speed bump it goes crazy and the squeak is really loud. what type of lubricant do you use?

white lithium grease...picked some up at advanced auto the other day...remove the brackets that hold the bushings in place, remove the bushings...cover the inside with grease and re-install...same as the rear. just look under there and you'll see them...jack/jack stands will come in handy.

To get at the fronts...I have noooo clue. I've heard it's a b**** to get at them. I've looked under there and it looks like a crossmember has to come off.

Topher, it was that easy for you? They look like a b**** to get to, especially the passenger side.

are you sure its your exhaust hangers and not the welds on the muffler bracket that is making the noise?

That must be quiet, I always thought the Greddy is way to quiet for my tastes. But a lot of people like how deep it is when you get on it and then sounds factory when cruise.

if you put a breather filter on the intake mani and cap off the other side you will not throw a CEL

The stock stuff would not bolt up to the 626 mani that i got.

you could either get the 626 egr tube or go the home depot route... im going to block mine off too.. i already have the plate just waiting to install it someday... but for now i just took the tube and bent it in a couple places to seal it off sorta... and why? because my manifold doesn't have the hook up for the egr tube

i got the plate for the intake mani and i got this thing for the exhaust mani thats like a nut with a cap on the end of it. all you do is screw it on the exhaust mani and capped off and sealed. perfect...lol
