What have you done to your MSP today?

That wire connection is the reverse sensor. I had it undone for a bit accidentally and I could never figure out why my reverse lights weren't coming on. Apparently I disconnected it when working with the intake off one time and forgot to reconnect it. I have no idea why somebody tap into it, maybe he had a different add on reverse light that he needed a switch for.

Hey Chris, where'd you put your LED for the LC-1? I put mine inside the left center air vent. Sad thing is you only really actually use that LED during configuration (so once).

or they had a back up camera with a tv or monitor in the car. thats what I would think. but you can get the reverse wire in by the passenger side. hmm the only way to see if it is the reverse light is test it. if it goes to 12v when the car is put in reverse, and when its not in reverse it shows nothing. but i have no idea if that is or is not the reverse light.

i put it and the button (switch) in the blank switch plate...where you mounted the switch for your exhaust cut-out.

when you wired the switch and led, did you have the wires from the switch and led attached at the same point to your ground wire?

What switch?

I don't remember a button with mine. This is Innovate right? Mine recalibrates if I disconnect the controller from the O2 signal.

ha!....i spent most of the day saturday working on it...and then i looked on here and saw where you remove the bolt by loosening it from the passenger's side...yep, i'm a moron...i had tried EVERYTHING to try to break it...from the driver's side. i decided to take the intake mani off and get to it that way.

Werid.... i did everything from driverside both times without issue.

ah, well apparently they added a button to them...you're supposed to hold it down to calibrate it before attaching the o2, and then do the 'open air' calibration...and maybe something else, i don't remember...

i wasn't sure if by putting the two wires together at the same place, the light would constantly be on or if it would work properly.

I take it your talking to me.. if so then that would be the only logical thing that I can think of.

Also, I'll post my impressions after I drive it when it's dry out.

Well, it seems about the same down low in the dry, maybe a little more wheel spin now in the first two gears. After 5k rpms though it really opens up, and feels nothing like the stock mani did. Sucks though, cause I usually shift by 5.7k rpm.

So get it on yet? Impressions? RDV ftw.

tonight i 1/2 way installed the tranny mount insert...yeah, i think i stripped out the the two 'vertical' bolts...got into a rush. overall, that was the easiest of the 3 i've done so far....minus the minor ef-up.

anyone know what size bolts they are? M12, M14? i was planning on picking up a tap and dye to clean out the threads.

those bolts are such a b**** to get reinstalled...
my recomendation is to take out the bolt through the mount, lossen up those four, retap it with a tap, and then install those four before you hook up the tranny with the long bolt

I doubt you stripped the female side though, that would take a lot of force and the bolt would strip before that happened....maybe just replace them or rethread them with a die?
