What have you done to your MSP today?

^^^ Awesome, good to know. Are yours both setup to run at the same time? I would have gone with the curved blade fans but they are too thick for my application. I have the Corksport radiator which just doesn't leave enough space.

I threw a CEL while cruising at about 45mph today... the strange thing... I think its running better now. I had an open stretch of BRAND new freeway, so I took it out to 110mph (my tires are 5.8% smaller than stock so prb more like 100 real world speed) and she was still pulling beautifully, idles super smooth (thats never been a problem though)... I'm wondering what the computer is seeing. Maybe I'll find out on a cold start in the morning.. as long as it gets me to work I'm OK. lol

I have a nice CRACKED Corksport S-pipe now to match my cracked thunder mani......:(

I just finished paying this ****** off too so, it make's since that it would start breaking now....

i still have teh stock ecu controlling the fans. they are not setup to both run all the time at the same time.

stock, the primary fan is the driver side fan. half of it hangs off of the radiator (to cool the stock smic). the secondary fan is for the a/c and it completely covers the radiator.

i put the high performance curved blade fan on the passenger side. i rewired the fans so that this one would be the primary one. i did this so the primary fan would completely cover the radiator.

the medium profile fan is on the driver side. it is now the secondary fan.

the primary fan on the passenger side is constantly running (at slow speeds or idle) and the secondary fan kicks on when i have the AC running.

^^^ Damn, you have engine mounts? I've had the CS downpipe for 1.5 years now and it's still in fine shape. I also have AWR front and rear motor mounts and side inserts. I also have the CS exhaust which has a flexpipe which also helps.

that sucks, sorry to hear.

what kind of motor mounts do you have?

what kind of exhaust do you have? does it have a flex section?

hopefully you are the original owner of the s-pipe,or the will not fix/replace it for you.

Okay, this is similar to what I have now. I have a 12" puller as the primary on the passenger's side and a 9" pusher on the front of the A/C condensor as the accessory fan. What I've been debating on doing however is when I switch to two 12" pullers to wire them both to the primary fan wire so they both come on when only the primary would usually.

No, but I am upgrading my radiator to the Corksport one so I figured I should just update my fans while they are out. I'm also selling my fans as part of my old MAM FMIC kit so I need new ones as well. Ever since I intalled my MAM exhaust manifold the under-hood temperatures have been higher though. Besides, these will help when I upgrade the turbo down the road.

Yeah, I have awr88 front mm/tranny side insert's/pass side poly filled....

I have the complete corksport exhaust. The first time my midpipe broke at the weld's on the resonator (Both side's!) I had it replaced along with adding in a flex pipe.

I had the S+J pipe installed for about 2 years now and the rest of the exhaust has been on for atleast 3.5 years or so.....All I can say, is keep an eye on it!

Yeah,I'm the first/only owner of the S+J pipe glad to hear that they will replace it!

I'm hoping to have a Mani/DP made locally but,it's good to hear that I might be able to re-coupe some fund's off the CS....

protect your goo

hopefully that was when you were taking it out or somwething not while you were driving its awfully green to ohhhh is that frozen?

lol, I'm sure he was purposely doing that since he was able to take a pic of it in action lol

its green because it's coolant

and what car is that? it doesn't look like the msp radiator

lol, all but the one mount that you need to stop most of your engine movement

Yeah, I was too lazy to install the rear MM lol (stooges)

Oh well, I have it sitting around somewhere maybe I will install it this time around along with their new tranny mount.BTW The vibration(s) from those mount's alone was enough to turn me off from installing the rear mount.
