HKS Suction Reloaded Intake

I was wandering if the HKS was worth the 255.. i just sold my injen CAI after taking it off for warranty stuff(dealer made me take it off) and decided i want a short ram... I guess heres my questions
-Some people say it sounds different "more like a jet", Does it have a diff. sound?
-The filter is something im not familiar with.. is it cleanable or is it a throw away?
-In YOUR opinion is the Cobb SRI a better way to go.. i know as far as performance there wont be much of a difference so the only other factors is look and sound...

Everyone that I know that have gotten that intake hasnt made one complaint about it. The price actually seems very fair cause I personally have yet to buy a crappy product made by HKS, all their stuff looks very good quality wise.

I just got my hks intake but I haven't installed it yet. It looks really nice, and inside the filter cage it has plastic fins (they call it "super inner frame") that has the same function as the "air straightner" that everyone is so excited about. I will write a review when I install it this weekend.

Had the same type of intake on my Twin Turbo Stealth and I loved it, damn should have never sold that car.

I just istalled my hks and it is crazy loud when I get on it and a very noticable power increase, so far im really pleased.

Is the HKS intake decent? Is it an oiled or dry filter? Is it researched and proven? Does it look like half of a fly died in your engine bay?

The intake is a very nice piece. It has an oil impregnated filter from the factory, no oiling it yourself. It is very well researched, hks sells this intake in japan as well as here and it has typical hks quality. I think it looks like a nuclear mushroom cloud. HKS FTW!

Well ok slight MPG gains and slight HP gains are nice too. I do want to hear the turbo and BPV though. I admit it, I'm rice (burnout)

I didn't pick up on that, another piece of irony is that are cars are built in hiroshima. The stock bpv is very audible, I feel no need to buy an aftermarket one.
