Need to know everything bout my MS3

i just recently got a 08 ms3 and im wanting to know everything bout my engine... whats the max boost the car pushs stock, whats the max boost at 1 and 2 gear, how much boost can i run b4 i have to change s*** like rods, pistons, sleevs, valves and s*** like that

whats the best site where i can get more bang for my buck on blow off valves, FMIC kits, manual boost controllers and boost gauges

im new to the forced induction s***, just know the gist of it, so it would be helpfull to not use abbreviations please cause i dont know all of them haha

I'd suggest to just start searching around on here. There is tons of info to be had, a lot more than anyone could just post in here. Cobb seems to me a major manufacturer of MS3 goods, and they are a quality company that does work with other cars like Subaru.

^^ cobb is awsome i think some people are running 20 lbs safely stock we peak at 15.6 but boost is limited to 12 in first and second. dont put a blow off on this car it must be a bypass valve (recirculates instead of ventin to atmosphere)

cant i just get a HKS SSQV with the recirculating optiion so that it dont VTA?
i know VTA is bad without tuning because it will make it run rich, i dont know all the rules and tricks when it comes to forced induction s*** but im learning so everylittle bit of info is a great deal of help

the car is good up to 1200whp with the stock turbo......max boost in all gears is just around 40 psi....wait that's the tires.....

1. Safety wire the wastegate shut and run 100 octane Avgas.
2. Put aftermarket stickers on both rear quarters.
3. Remove all punctuation and "shift" keys from PC keyboard- if you haven't already.
4. Claim that you are making at least 450 whp.

max psi = about 16
1st gear 10 or less
2nd gear 10-13
3rd+ full boost

guys are running 18 psi without needing to change fuel pump or upgrade pistons,changing boost tubes is a good idea on any car not running stock psi, changing out clamps and tubes will help keep all that pressure sealed,i think that if u plan on pushin 20+ you should consider rebuilding the internals. read up about the mods you will need to compensate for the extra psi if thats the route you want to go.
