Pre AP dyno results

Well I just got back from my tuners to get some baseline dyno numbers on my stock 06 speed6 before I flash my AP maps and start adding mods. Results were better than I planned on. Did 3 pulls on a Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer.

Max AWHP was 226.6 and Max torque was 235. The HP peaked at 5600 and the fell off quickly torque peaked at about 3600 and like the HP fell off at 5600. I will post the numbers after the stage one flash next week.

Tq range 235 ft-lbs @ 3600 - 5600
Hp max 226.6 @5600

So,
5250/5600*226.6=212.44 ft -lbs

It is more likely you had 226.6 HP and 212.44 ft-lbs @ 5600 rpm.

and

161.14 Hp and 235 ft-lbs @ 3600 RPM.

There may be something wrong with your car (at least it may not be exactly stock). When my MS6 was new I dyno'd at 275 ft-bs and 188 Hp @ 3600 RPM and the tuner did not rev to 5600 rpm because the power dropped to 187 HP and TQ @ 5250 rpm, it peaked at 223 HP and 282 ft-lbs, which matches what Mazda originally advertised for the car.

It will be interesting to see if you get the 325 ft-lbs Cobb claims 16% over stock assumed 280 ft-lbs or only 272 ft-lbs, still less than stock should be.

what kind of dyno was it?
 
Boost is on late and the tq is low. Do you have the reflash (or i guess you may have a late '07)? I don't know what the dealer reflash does to the car, so I think it will be interesting to see what your car does with the AP tune.

Was I close to your results on the dyno graph? (I should be dead on) HP is calculated from tq on a dyno.
 
Just realized you are posting a couple of upgrade parts FS on the forums. Are you sure it was totally stock on the dyno?

I mean the upgrades were off and the ECU was reset to factory settings. And the reinstalled stock parts are on correctly.

Just a question. Why are you selling the intake and dash hawk if you are buying the AP? There is a good tune with a CAI and the dash hawk is valuable for DA.
