alright. Just a heads up... get ready for some serious "ownage" type remarks.
That said, skip the 2.0fsi from the TT. Forget it. Yes, anything is "possible", but you don't want that engine anyway.
Are you absolutely positive on making your P5 the "huge car project"? Take a loooooooooooong time to think about that question, and if the answer is still yes, then ok.
To conclude, a "s*** ton of money" is a subjective term. Explain further. If you just hit the mega jackpot millions, and you still want to make the P5 your huge car project, pay someone to put a 20B rotary engine in there. You'll certainly have the best P5 ever, bar none.

I would call that a ton of money, lol. When I read s*** ton of money, I think of hitting the lotto. You can get a 20B out of the mazdaspeed catalog for 20k, lol. You'll use the rest of the 30k to get it in the car and working. So forget that.
If you're serious about doing the P5, spend the next 6 months researching every old thread on this forum about FSDE engine building, turbo charging, tranny upgrades, etc etc... you could potentially have a pretty nice 300whp P5 for 10k lol. You'll find many who are going to tell you to just enjoy the P5 for what it is. Maybe be simple and just put on a mazdaspeed turbo kit and call it a day. It will still be slow, but you'll still have the P5.
If I were in your shoes, I would spend 3k to build the P5 engine, throw on a mazdaspeed kit and run safely at 10psi daily, take maybe 10k to do a project car, and invest the res.... well, maybe put it under your mattress lol!
