anyone have any links on how to do this? especially the rear? im not worried about painting them, im worried about getting them off. thanks

you can get the rear ones off with a heat gun and fishing line or dental floss. dont heat it up too much tho. the front one just clips in.

i got my speed3 off and everything i just have the m's. and i want to paint them black so the front one just clips off? and the rear one i know is bolted but do i have to remove the trunk piece to get the m unbolted?

Alot of people thing it's bolted b/c of the holes. There are 2 plastic stubs on the back of the emblem and 2 plastic (washer) over the studs. The washers sorta "pop" into the holes.

Take fishing line and pulling away from the paint (so it touches the back of the emblem and not the paint) carefully "saw" at the adheasive just so the fishing line can passs under it. Go all the way through until you hit the posts then reposition. Once all the adheasive is broken through, use your fingernail and pry at the emblem carefully until it pops off, or use the fishing line behind it to pull it off gently.
