iono lol you new one?

hey Ryan, how many times do i have to repeat the bleeding process ? i def saw bubbles in the radiator, but after like 4 minutes i had to put the cap on cause water started to bounce out of the radiator. how do i exactly know when is fully bleed ?, i did this bleeding thing twice and bubbles still come out. i've waited for the car to be cool before doing this.. please help me bro..

OK, and when they are all gone, just put back the Rad Cap and that's it ? what about if i don't see any ******* bubbles ? I'm about to put this b**** on Fire if i can't fix the damn overheating s***...

Dude it could be your t-stat! My old p5 did that. If I drove normal the car would run fine but as soon as I started dogging it out. It would jump upto hot in a heart beat. Replaced the t-stat and all was well again.

Do you have any specs of it, i can try buying one here, but I'll need the specs of it, degrees etc, any part number, pictures ? i'll need all of possible info. so hard to find basically anything for this car in here.... Worst s*** you can have is a car that overheats.. when you changed your thermostat, did you had to do any of the stuff people were telling me to do here, bleeding the system the way they were saying.. Thanks Daniel....

I see you changed you avatar manny lol no more mpi stage 2 gt28rs =)

This is true Ryan, lol its just about yours now.....Its okay I am making up the difference with an MPINick Stage 1...I will be fine running around 275...I forgot how quick the gt25 picks up...but I do miss the power from the GT28......hope you enjoy.....stupid NAVY, lol I would still be running the GT28.....I am glad your happy with it though.

I didnt change mine myself. I had it changed by my Mech while he did the wp, pulley set, timing belt, and a few other things all at once.

These car arn't equiped with a bleed valve unfortunately. I would do what everyone else is saying with one exception. I would bleed the car off as much as possiable and then let it cool down completely. Then take it for a a quick drive around the block without overheating it and start the bleeding process all over again. Some times those air bubbles need a little help from my experience with other cars. Hover my driveway is also on a incline as well.

Hey Miguel, go to *************.com and order their gates low temp thermostat. I just installed it this pas weekend...ask ryan he was there. its a pretty straight forward install.....It will take crossover about 2-3 weeks to get it in and mail it out, its only about $25, i think.......to install it, you could drain your coolant, remove your lower radiator hose and take off the 2 bolt on the t-stat housing....I believe they were either 12mm or 14mm prolly 12mm though. pop out the t-stat, swap the rubber "gasket" on the t-stat, and put it back, bolt back the t-stat housing, and hook back the lower radiator hose, and fill the coolant back in. After you fill it, run it for a bit and see if it needs to be bled (if you start overheating again). BTW, as your filling the radiator with coolant squeeze and release the upper radiator hose.....it will squeeze some air out while your filling it......but If you run hot again, you will need to bleed it like Ryan mentioned above, possibly a few times.

^also pay close attention to the direction of the old t-stat when you remove it. You dont want to install the new one backwards and have to do it all over again.

This might be a stupid questions but i dont know s*** about timing so here is my question.

Im going to be swapping out my intake cam and my one buddy that is a caddy tech was telling me that i should see if its possible to change the timing on my intake cam. I dont have have adjustable gears and i have read that u never want to change the exhaust timing. so im just wondering if this is something that can be done.

Thanks.

Ordered me a 3" x 2.75" 45 degree coupler for my injen intake that im going to custom jdm modify and then i also order a 2.75" x 2.5" 45 degree coupler for the new alumnium intake mani. Picked up a extra 5 or so 2.75 and 2.5" t bolts just to have as spares. Need to go down the street sometime this week and get some new locking nuts and stainless steel studs for my Stage 2 GT28RS. Then after that i think i just have to buy a battery, oil, oil filter, and coolant and ill have everything i need to make my car run. O and also cant forget 2 bags of zip ties and some silcone sealant lol
