What have you done to your MSP today?

I can hear it spool up, BOV blows off, and doesn't reach full boost tell about 3.5k-4krpms. Some days I can tell its FI due to the pull of the car and other days its just noise or well feels like it.

Id check your wastegate

a blown turbo would mean zero psi, and I mean ZERO psi....youll know when your turbo is gone, its not so much a question then lol

your symptoms sound like a blown wastegate, take the vacuum line leading to the wastegate and blow into it, if you can blow then its shot if its like blowing against a brick wall then its fine and then I'd look for a boost leak.....you may pull full vacuum at idle with a boost leak, rubber/silicone tends to expand under pressure and so it can sometimes only appear under boost
 
my car is still in the shop after having it for a month and i've never been able to boost it. :( hopefully we'll figure out what's goin on soon. they think it's an ecu problem.

I know how that goes lol, took me ten months to get to boost again....
 
i found one thats a universal called eip tuning would that work or does anyone know someone that has one for sale because i think thats the problem
 
Today ordered stock titanium grill from a member. and ordered a I love jdm oil cap off ebay total $110 for both... not bad.

atp turbo makes a stock replacement

go to their site and search via vehicle specific

however I dont think that will help your 'popping' issue

well ok now what happens is when im driving normal like not flooring it it runs good but when i get on it, it starts making like a puttering noise not like a backfire more like a kind of like when your going to stall i guess but not exactly it still spools up and kicks in but pops but usually only when i floor it. it used to do it when i first started it up and drove for like the first 15 minutes but then it would stop is that better details or should i wrrite it in another thread im new to this
 
i just tried blowing into the vacum hose running into the wastegate and it was real easy to do so ill try looking at my check engine light and check to make sure if thats not a possibility of fixing the problem
 
what are you using for the closed loop o2 control? the haltech has to see a signal from either a narrowband sensor or a wideband sensor. and i thought you said you removed the narrowband from the exhaust...so wideband?

I don't have any 02 Sensor in the Exhaust Mani or near the turbo, juts my Wideband sensor in the Down Pipe, but i do have a 02 sensor in my test pipe where my Catalytic Converter used to be, i have no idea which of those 2 Sensors TBK were using for tunning or Closed Loop 02, i just know in my haltech that Option was disabled, the car seems to be a little better but I'm Still getting insane Rich AFR's at idle and cruising speeds.. I know the roads in here are completely different than in Miami, here we have Mountains, huge uphills and downhill Highways, and that makes you eat more gas but.. **** my whole gas tank is lasting me 200 miles and less. plus not to mention i fill up my car here with 98 Octane Premium gas for 75 Euros, that's equal to $ 112.50 in the States. Thank God this is not my daily car, I only drive it like 3 times a month probably less.

replace the wastegate to start, its certain that is broken and NEEDS fixing....whether or not it will cure all your problems from there, we shall see, but that is your best bet right now

if you still have problems after that let me know

If you can easily blow through your wastegate line then it is shot, time for ATP.
 
buy the stock replacement from protege garage it is the ATP, when mine came in it didnt ship from rick at protegegarage but from ATP. its cheaper on protegegarage too
