yeah that is how i set mine up ....exactly the same way...and it doesn't make a loud sound or ne thing the stock bpv sounds better...i just purchased mine on the forum here and it only came with one spring...so i opened up the bov to see what spring color it was and it looks like as if it had been spray painted lime green or something...but when i hook it up the valve is opening and closing and i can feel air coming out of it...so maybe i'll have to buy a new spring set from forge...or something...my car is pretty much stock except for an intake....would someone be able to post up a video of how it sounds on their car along with their mods so that i can have an idea of what a working one should sound like?

at stock boost its not very loud. but when/if you start raising the boost it will sound better. I have the same bov and at 15psi it sounds pretty sweet. and I think you are supposed to use the green spring as it is the lowest spring for the valve

i've tried it at stock boost and i've tried it on 9 pounds of boost even though i don't have the supporting modes....i think that i just need to order a new spring set

maybe i'll take it apart again and post pics of what is inside...cuz i don't know if it is the dual piston one or the single piston one

i cut the silicone piping down on mine because it wasn't going off either but once i cut it down it was like night and day, maybe i'll just get it welded on my hot pipe if i find time

it isnt very loud of a Bov and i think the spring they put in it for the MSP is for 12lbs of boost and the reasoning behind that is so it wont stall.

mine is pretty loud. it almost sounds like a greddy type s, but mine is on the cold side so that probaly has something to do with it. I cant really remember what it sounded like when I has it on the hot side

did you have to make a custom flange for the bov or did you just weld it to the cold pipe
