Slammed curb new rims

I was coming off an exit ramp, those of you in CT... Exit 67 off 84E. There are two lanes you can turn left in, so I was in the right lane and two cars were in the left lane, light was red so I was going slow down the ramp, light tuns green so i didn't even have to stop, going about 30 mph and I'm head to head with the first car going around the corner, and then he pulls up a little bit and decides to run into my lane, at this point, my car is at his passenger door. I slammed on my brakes and skidded cause it was raining and i slammed into the curb and the dude just kept going, but the guy behind him stopped to see me. ******* bastard. I need to go have my tire looked at today after work to make sure its ok. Here is a pic of the rim. it Just sucks cause they are new. lol

don't assume it's just the wheel; have your suspension and alignment checked also

even if you didn't damage anything you probably threw out your alignment

Yea I get free balance / rotation on my tires so I'll have them do that too.

balancing/rotating your tires has nothing to do with the alignment of the wheels. It's completely unrelated. Make sure to get it checked!

Yea I have an appointment at 5:00 today to get it checked out, hes ganna check my alignment and do the rotation for me. Told him what happened and he said yea no prob well check it all for ya. So well see how it goes

Well my alignment is OK. was off by like 1.20 or something like that. He said I might of bent my control arm though, I need to take to a body shop for that.. but I'm going to hold off on that for a little, it seems fine to me.
