POS kids...

Honestly I believe someone's life isn't worth taking for a radio, or a damn Navigator, but at the same time you're taking a risk stealing from ANYONE. Too bad his mother didn't teach him that.

But on a bad note, the guy who shot and killed the teen ended up going to jail. He was on probation and wasn't supposed to have access to a gun. His gf more than likely lost her job over the incident also, because she was a police officer and he used her police gun to shoot the teen with.

True story - my cousin gets out of a club in Buenos Aires Argentina and sees his passenger side window shattered and some guy legs sticking out. He screams at the thief "What'da f*&k are you doing?", the thief answers "Get out ouf here, the radio is mine....you can take the wheels is you want...."....the rest of the story involves some seeeeeeeerious ass kicking.

got a used car dealer here that had kids ripping stuff off honda cars, he got out with a shot gun and shot one up in the air to scare them off.. the next morning cops came in , took the gun and cuffed him..

the robbers called the cops themselves and told them they were terrorised at it..

In my area we had a 16 year old break in someones Navigator. The owner came out and shot and killed him. On the news 2 days later the boys mother said, and I quote, "He didn't have to shoot my son. All he wanted was the radio." Wtf?!?!?!

i remember hearing about that, what about the dude in baltimore that saw a man stealing his rims off his benz shot and killed him and was charged with manslaughter. wtf?!

unfortunatly you cannot harm someone even if they are on your property...they must be intruding in your house before you can do anything to them legally...

had a friend who had an fight with an intruder in his house.the guy hot out after being kicked in the assed alright..

he called the cops afterwards and asked them what he can do and not do..

the cop answered, once he's in the house he can "panic and tumble down the stairs" ya know..

meaning that you can hurt him but dont kill him if you dont have too..

i got a nice 120volts/3000 volts 30 milliamp tranformer here.. might be nice to use THAT with some cold water and some aligator cables...

as they say, if someone is acting you and your property, and you feel you have to defend yourself, shoot to kill, one, so their is only one side to the story, and two it looks more like self defense

An lawyer in my old town in BsAs (I'm from there) had his stereo stolen 6 times, the sixth time he followed the thiefs and shot them. Of course, he went to jail. His family, to raise money, came up with a famous car sticker that said "I have a radio and I'm a LAWYER"

each state is different. you pop up in my house uninvited, I can pop your ass.(gun)

Here are major provisions of Texas' castle law:
•It presumes you are reasonable in using deadly force if someone – illegally and with force – enters or is attempting to enter your occupied home, car or workplace. You are not given this presumption if you provoked the person or were engaged in a crime.
•It removes your obligation to retreat if possible before using deadly force if you are anywhere you have a right to be. The previous law obliged you to retreat if a "reasonable person" would have, except in a situation where someone unlawfully entered your home.
•It gives you added protection from lawsuits by injured attackers or their families. The previous law granted this protection if someone illegally entered your home, but not in other situations.

This teaches crooks to stay the **** out of places where they're not supposed to be!

In TX the provisions for CHL and Castle laws are slightly different depending on the situation. Either way crooks better think twice of who they are jacking stuff from here.

In florida...leon county specifically....if they're on your property it's enough to justify use of firearms....if you kill them though, you've got to prove they presented an immediate threat to your safety. This is kind of a loop hole you can imagine since...well....if you kill them there's no one to testify against you.

In NE you had to give a verbal warning telling them to leave your property and you were armed before you fired

In VA they had to present an iminant danger....whether in or outside of your house.

Keep in mind NE and VA laws might have been updated since I lived there...like someone else said, it differs by state and even county.

s***, somebody shows up at your neighbor's you can pop them..... while on the phone with the cops telling you not to. That story made the news over here and was hilarious. He was just acquited too, what, this week?

They don't want us to take the law in our own hands. Well, the police need to respond quicker in my opinion. I don't know exactly what their workload is, but when I need them I need them like right now.

I had an incident where I turned my car on with the automatic starter. Some kid (couldn't have been more than 15) gets out of the passenger side of a tinted '90s Maxima and pulls on the drivers side door handle. I'm walking towards the car with my 2 oldest kids, and I ask him "did you lose something over there?" He starts to talk sh*t to me, kinda low, but the closer I get to him the lower his voice gets, and he gets back in the Max. I tell my kids to get in the car and they take off. I take off after him (yeah, I know, not smart) and he gets away (hey, it wasn't boosted yet(lol2)). Plus hitting speed bumps doing 50 isn't a good idea, especially if you're lowered.

I flag down an officer and tell him the direction they went plus the tag number, and he drives the wrong way! Then I call the police and they say too much time has passed and there is nothing they can do. Huh? I tell them if they come back they'll be notifying the boys mother that he met an untimely death, then they say if that happens they'll take me to jail. Needless to say I haven't seen any more black tinted Maximas near my home.

So I should have dragged him in the house then beat the crap outta him. I'll know next time(argh)
