Anyone know what those plugged holes are for on the MS3 steering wheel? Paddle shifters?

Also, anyone ever roll down the back windows and left the front ones up? Do that and hit 60 mph on the highway...holy crap, your ear drums will thump in your head.

The holes on the steering wheel can indeed be used for paddle shifters..... if you have an automatic. onlinemazdaparts has a RX8 paddle shifter kit for ATX 3's.. I think it runs about $400-500.

I drive around with my back windows open and fronts closed all the time.... however I have a moonroof and it sucks air in the back and out the roof so no evil sounds. :P

When I did that yesterday, my car started vibrating super hard and it really hurt my ears. I never experienced it soo bad in any other car.

Paddle shifters in the MS3...nice.

lol our cars do that too....its like theres subwoofers in your ears lol i hate that

Yeah, I've accidently rolled up the front windows first. It's actually very surprising how loud it is.

What's sad is that it provided more bass than the Bose woofer under the seat.

There is a mod that moves the clutch up to where that hole in the column is. From what I understand it results in much, much quicker shifts.

j/k ;)

Well if you use them for an automatic, why would they be in the MS3?(uhm)

did it on accident started rolling up the windows fronts first that was a mistake then i did it again just to make sure it wasnt a fluke accident. parts sharring then its probably the same as ford focas eu addition and valvo whatever the model we share parts with. for the paddle shifters. my firs thought was they had something to do with air bag as a vent to help deflate the air bag after.

Yea, the wind will also make that vibrating noise at around 130 mph with all the windows down, lol. You have to roll all them up if you doing high speed runs. Which should be common knowledge, but I thought I would just state it.

It is crazy, but the MS3's ride really smooths out over 100 mph and rides like a caddy.
