MS3 to S2000?

Then why did you get all fanboy on people who were willing to discuss the merits of the new SS TC? Why have you argued that you'd never have bought something else because the hatchback is just so much more useful and then talk about getting a 2 door convertible?

My honest answer is: if you think you are going to be happier with an S2000 over and MS3, get whatever you want to drive.

But since it's you... you want an S2000 (maybe) and you brought it up in a MS3 forum. Let's give you the "MS3077" typical response to a thread like that.

"IMHO the MS3 is too much bang for the buck. Any S2000 driver out there better watch out; one day they'll run into a modded MS3 and they won't know what hit 'em!

+1!!!11!1!"

Will a MOD please make this asshole disappear?

i've noticed there are a lot of assholes in this forum.

i guess people aren't allowed to change their opinions without getting flamed.
No, that really isn't the issue. He's been really hard on a lot of people in the past for having positive thoughts about cars other than the MS3. He can change his mind all he wants, it's just pretty hilarious in this case.

This thread is pending MOD evaluation. I have a feeling at least one member will be canned.

ANyways, back on topic.

So the Maita is looking like a strong possibility for a second car..

Honest question here, guy. Not even trying to be antagonistic or anything, since you have a pretty bad track record with being able to tell when people are insulting you or out to get you.

Do you do stuff like this in real life? Attack people for their opinions while expressing your own, and when people call you on it complain to a position of authority because people are being mean to you? Fervently express your support for one thing to the point of insulting other people one minute, change your mind the next, then have people call you on being a bit of a hypocrite, and then complain about how everyone is picking on you?

I'm wondering how well doing stuff like that works out for you on a place other than the internet, you see. It's for science.

Back on topic: the Miata is a nice ride. I haven't driven one pre-1997 body style, but the two I've driven ('99 and '00) were a blast to drive. Slow, but a fantastic drive. Much different experience from the Mazdaspeed3, though, and a much different thrill. If you want power and handling, there are some turbo upgrades or engine swaps you can throw at the Miata that won't upset the handling much, and with its low weigh even 200 hp is a lot of power. Maybe you could even find a used Mazdaspeed Miata.

I think the miata is a fine car. I don't fit in them well. Or, that's to say it's very small on me. I'm sorta a big fella though. Not so much the height as I am meaty.

Dude, you're just trying to stir up s*** because I've proven you wrong on mulitiple occassions. How about you do about 95% of us a favor and s*** on someone elses forum / thread. Thank you.

I am able to heel-toe a '99 and I'm about 6'3 and 215. It's a tight fit for headroom with the top up (I can almost look over the top of the windshield) and I have to slouch a bit, but it was worth the hassle.

Ha-ha! You have a way with words. I don't believe I would have any issues fitting in a Miata as I'm a whopping 5'9 and 145lbs.

Wow. I'm only 5'11" and could feel the wind on the top of my head. I've still got you by 20lbs though. :-p

Cornfed.

I think some of us need to lighten up just a bit here.
I haven't had the pleasure of meeting "happy and angry" but I can tell from your threads that your not a bad person. I have also met MS3077 in person and he certainly didn't come across as a big pain in the ass :)

That being said, sometimes we get carried away behind the keyboard. Differences of opinion are fine, s*** it would be very boring if everyone though exactly the same now wouldn't it? We'd all be driving utterly boring toyota's and forums wouldn't exist other than to high five each other on how awesome we are(nt).....

I heartily encourage a pause before hitting the post button to review what your handing off to the forum as a post. This gives you a second to read it again and see how you would feel being on the receiving end of it.

There is a certain amount of decorum involved if your going to be a heavy forum contributor. Debates are good, trading exchanges of information that may conflict is good. Facts and opinions are worthwhile. The difference is when it crosses the line between good form, and personalization of it. Thats where things get ugly in a hurry.

Hell, I am not exactly Mr goody 2 shoes when it comes to the forum, but I am always careful to maintain a sense of humor, self deprecation, and most of all, valuing the opinions of others. Even when it's directly opposed to mine.

By all means let's continue shall we?

I'm glad you don't think I'm a big pain in the ass Super Unique :)

Also, I'm with you 100% on post #75

This is all I and several others have been asking him to do, because he has a pretty bad track record with it.

Actually I don't, it's yourself mainly and perhaps 2-3 others that feed off your flames. Perhaps, they're just bitter I have no idea. Regardless, you tend to blow everything I post way out of proportion and it's getting old. This thread was going on just fine up until the point you decide to be a dick and post insults on my character without even being provoked
