Hey, me too...that's what I do at my day job....engine design.

I am in! I like that you can still get air from the vent to go around the sides of the guage and not completely block it off. How much are we talking about for these things?

I would believe this would be the best compromise between full movement($$$) and a solid straight mounting. The 10 degree angle might not be perfect for all drivers or seat positions but definately better than fixed (leaving the gauge pointing toward the seat belt shoulder pivot). That just my 2 cents anyway..........either way I still want one

What do you guys think of this....I've tipped the gauge toward the driver at a 10* angle.

The factory ring (I assume you're referring to the silver area) is part of the entire vent assembly and can't be separated, so the VentPod will duplicate this feature.

High Elbows, the 10 degrees looks to be the ticket. Have you considered packaging/bundling this? with an approved vendor of course, the Gauges and the pod.Someone must have contacted you by now! What can we fit in the ashtray? Dashhawk, turbo timer, etc. this is for the none smoker of course!

Since we don't have an exact number of people yet (remember, we need 100 units to get it into the target retail price range), I can't answer that "exactly".
However, the target retail price is going to be somewhere in the $35-$40 range.
