**PIC REQUEST**canister mufflers installed

Im considering and HKS carbon ti muffler but never really cared for the 'fart can' look. anyone have pics of said muffler or similar size mufflers so I can see how well they tuck under the car? how bout rear valence clearance. I dont want a black bumper

hmm, black bumpers on both. is there a way for an exhaust shop to bring the tip out more to avoid that or is the jsut the length of the muffler? I love the stock oval tip, just wish i could find sound clips of a universal muffler(like vibrants) that the stock tip can go on

your going to have problems with a black bumper when you get a free flowing exhaust. you want to know why? because of the msp's rich tune. theres nothing you can do about it unless you get a ems and tune the car

you would be really happy with one of the name brand cat-backs
like Ion's setup, or Thermal's setup

they have nice tips on them as opposed to the sheet-metal look of the universal mufflers...plus you get perfect fitment and nice piping

Or just drive a black mica speed! LOL. My iON exhaust doesn't give me problems at all though - just a bit black around the bottom of the tip. Then again I do have an afc. Ah well, good luck!

Ps - I do like the look of that apex one though - thankfully not too ricey.

yea petz i like the idea of a simple swap with a full catback like the thermal, but i couldnt tell how much of a growl it has on the clips on mocc. if I can get a good clean soundclip and like how it sounds(noticable note at idle and nice rumble through the gears) then Ill order one today
