I am only planning a few easy MODS such as the Turbosmart BOV, Intake, Exhaust, chip...

Boy are you in for a disappointment.

Hello, all. I've been planning to buy a Speed3 for a while now. The target is April, '09. However, I was told today that 2008 is the last year. Can anyone confirm this? I've found a Crystal White Pearl with just the right stuff, but I don't want to pull the trigger this early.

Hi Mike,

There's rumored mild changes to the 09's, so there's no guarantee of them making the mazdaspeed's for 09. I say get the white, but I'm biased on that one.

You talked me into it. Picked it up about 1800 or so. (dance) It's been a while since I drove a stick ('88 to be exact). Wasn't bad -- only bogged it once (in reverse). As I expected, it's a hoot to drive. The wife's not real thrilled at the moment. (pissed)
