Well, I was just curious to see if any other MSP owners had an interest in fire arms or carried one where they work? I carry a Sig P229 (DAK) and an AR-15 at work. I also own a Sig P229 (DAK). I am in the process of buying a DE!

dont have a real msp but i have the wing and front bumper .. And i carry a Glock 19 custom

i typically carry my Glock 17 or my Desert Eagle (got it for a steal.. haha) also have in the gun case my Utah Highway Patrol Beretta 40, a cpl of muzleloaders, a Weatherby 300 mag, my Winchester 1300 DeerSlayer Remington 1100 12 and 20 ga.. damn.. there are too many guns to remember on here all at once. haha..

i have a couple that i use but don't carry. i have a 20guage single shot that was my first gun when i was 12. i have a 12 gauge mosberg pump, a 22 rifle with scope, a 32 colt pocket pistol, and last but not least my fav. a 30. caliber carbine with a folding paratrooper stock from WWII. it your not fimiliar with it, it is the gun that the sgt in saving private ryan carried but with a folding stock. it is badass. i also have an M1 grand but that is currently with a family member.

I can't exactly take my guns to work, but I have a few. The latest is an AR-15 carbine with a flat top receiver, with removable handle, and a collapsable stock. I intend on getting a scope or red dot shortly. I also have a Smith & Wesson Sigma 9mm, a couple 12ga's and some 22's. I wanted an AR-10(.308), so it could be a good deer rifle, and have a little more range to poke coyotes, but .223 will suffice

Well, I don't carry for employment reasons.

Anyways, my short list includes:

Springfield XD9 (9mm 4" service model)
Mossy 500 12ga (actually a New Haven 700AT, my Grandfather's old shotty)
Mosin Nagant M44 (7.62x54r) that I refinished

Turbo MP3 very nice collection. We use to carry the LMT series AR-15's, but they were absolute garbage. We just traded in all our AR's for newer AR-15's from this company RockRiver. I've only heard good things about them. I use to have a Sig 2340, but I hated the 10lb trigger pull. My 229 has a nice 6lbs. I also just got my tritium sights...what a difference! Glocks are just great to shot...so easy. My trigger pull is perfect (always "pressing" and following the trigger all the way through). My breathing is whats killing me when I go to qualify. Some people are not crazy about the XD9's, however, I've shot one before, and I really liked it.

RRA makes some nice weapons. No one that I have known with an RRA has had issues with theirs. I like their "entry tactical" http://www.impactguns.com/store/RRA-AR1251.html

I only carry a gun on Saturdays. Saturdays at work are the day for delinquent collections. You would be surprised to know that people become very irrational and violent when their cable gets turned off.

I carry a S&W .40 or a Springfield XD. I only use Hydrashok hollowpoints.

I just switched from a .357 caliber barrel to a .40 caliber barrel (cheaper to shoot). I've been going to Wal-Mart to purchase my ammo...it seems to be extremely cheap there. However, they really only have Winchester and lately the Winchester ammo I've been using has been crap.

idgah...jhust for having a firearm in a car here your a criminal is 99% of the cases

I have to have my Sig on me at all times. I usually leave it locked up in the car. Anytime I try to conceal it on me, someone sees it and freaks out.

/agree

im canadian, i dont own a gun

nether does my next door nabour
or my boss
or my best freind
or anyone in my city lol

no s***! lol wtf? carry a gun to work? I'm guessing you all have some pretty dangerous jobs. I'm pretty sure I'd be writing this from a jail cell if I ever brought a gun into work. unless you're a cop or something similar... why the hell would you (or could you?) bring a gun to work?

but yeah... 2nd amendment ftw

In an ideal world... there'd be no guns. People, in order to protect themselves, would actually have to learn self-defense. For some, guns are a crutch. Think of the beer bellied hick who couldn't bench his own fat ass but can put a cap in your ass if you look at him funny. Without a gun he's just an out of shape loser... with a gun he's barkin orders and you're listening. To a certain extent... all the martial art training in the world can't stand up to a loaded gun. Sort of unfair if you ask me... but that's just how it is.

For our neighbors up north (who, in so many ways, have it far better than us its' not even funny. I'm pretty sure they don't even lock their doors at night. It's just a much different world up there.) I say, in defense of anyone in the US who packs heat, it's merely a means of keeping up with the criminals. If the bad guys didn't have access to guns the reason for owning one would be far diminished. Granted, you always want to be one step ahead of them but a guy coming into your house with a pocket knife is a bit less dangerous than one sporting an AK47. Granted, this aint the wild west but it's nice to know you at least have a fighting chance if all hell breaks loose.

Good point but if a guy came to me with an AK and said give me your wallet and I had a p90 in my pocket - I would still give him my wallet. Now if a guy came and tried to **** a family member I would murder him.
