Late May/Early June Fun Drive II?

Alright guys, which weekend(s) work best for you for the next drive?

May 24-25 is Memorial Day weekend, but I'm leaning toward June 7 or 8. Let me know what you think.

I will be camping with the family over Memorial weekend,
so the weekend before or after looks good to me!

I'm out of town May 18-25, so May 10th, 17th, 31st or any time in June is good for me.

I'm fixing my springs tonight, so I'll be there rain (Mazda) or shine (Lotus).

I thought about it. I really did. But I just didn't feel like cancelling dinner with one friend and then kicking the girlfriend out so I could wrench on the stupid car. (thumb)

When your free time is *severely* limited, it kind of changes your priorities!

Yeah, I can somewhat understand what ya mean. Girlfriend > car.

As for the poker night, sounds good, I'm def. interested as well.

June 8th would be perfect. I'd like to do a drive on a Sunday this time because it doesn't conflict with work, where as I had to take today off. Today was a fun ride and I have some pictures I'll post soon.

... what would everyone think about a night drive? I ran the route last night at like 10:00 under a full moon and it was flippin' awesome.

Really? That sounds interesting...my only concern would be critters running across the road, as there were a lot of roadkill last Saturday.

BTW, we gotta get out some weekend and try to run the route in reverse.

I'd prefer a Saturday but a June 1 could work. Any chance you could swing a Thursday or Friday evening?

I didn't see that many critters last night. One rabbit, one ground hog, both already off the road and running into the brush and one possum sitting on the other side of the road eating road kill.

Also, I'm thinking about maybe adding or changing a stop. There's a place in Unadilla that has great ice cream and some places to sit. It's pretty close to the start/end of the run, so some people may have seen it. I'll point it out when we're out exploring.

I'm more partial to Saturdays myself, but I had a request for a Sunday run, so I thought I would honor it this time around. Good to hear there aren't many critters running, and the night run sounds like a blast. We'll have to get a small crew together and see what we can come up with for some revisions to our route.

No, I meant a Saturday (or Thu-Fri evening) for us to plot the reverse route. A good portion of the route is already a loop, so figuring out the rest shouldn't be a big hassle.

Ohh, sorry for the confusion. Friday evening would be perfect for me, just gotta let me know when we're gonna do it.

As for the route, looking at the sheet I see that we do double back over a good portion, so things should be relatively easy to figure out.

I may be out of town the weekend of may 30th but any weekend after should work for me.

Night rides could be fun but hard for pictures and viewing of all the cool cars.
