License plate frames

Okay, ridiculous post asking about license plate frames. So that said...

I'm looking for a black two-hole plastic license plate frame w/lower plate stays (that hold the lower part of the plate in place). I don't understand why it's so hard to find. I can find brass or steel ones, but I don't wanna pay 30+ bucks. Been to autozone, advanced auto parts, napa, walmart, and o'reilly auto parts.

I just think it looks ridiculous that the plate holder has only two holes and the current plate frame just flops with the plate since it's not secured in any way to the plate or the plate holder.

Mine has four holes/screws. They are just screwed into the plastic anyway, just add the missing screws. Flapping is for birds.

I put 2 way tape on the bottom of the plate to hold it to the car and it seems to hold great.I also been thru over 50 car washs and it still holds tight.clean both sides good first before you put the tape on.

If you buy the Mazdaspeed frame like I did from Mazda, it comes with bushings and runner mounts to prevent any rattling.

Funny you mention that... I just came across the Mazdaspeed license plate frame on one of the sponsor sites.

Apart from looking redundant (Mazdaspeed text) and carbon fiber "look", it looks like an option. I may end up going for the brass/steel black powder coated ones I found. Plastic would have been preferable, but oh well.
