Anyone have any suggestion on how to take the damn sticker that dealer put on the back of your car(or anyway else) off ?
Yeah know the one that let everyone behind you know where you buy the car.

I swear that should be illegal. Luckily my dealer used a license plate cover to try to advertise. But yea, +1 on the hairdryer technique, just be careful pickin at it, you dont want it sliding under your fingernail, god that hurts!

Decal Remover (Razor). Works everytime for me.

(omg) RAZOR? ON PAINT? I would not put a razor near my paint to remove a sticker. Most dealers are using vinyl now, just use the hair dryer method or rubbing alcohol or goo gone to penetrate through. Just use patience. Make sure you wax that spot afterwards as all wax will have been removed while trying to remove the sticker.

i would bring it back and tell them to take the damn thing off. "i bought a 26000 car from you for my own interest not be your ******* billboard. there will be amonthly charge if thats the case."

As I said, "Works Evertime". I have done this on about 5 cars and have had no problems with "scratching paint". You don't shove the razor right into the car. They make decal removers, this is what I am using.

hairdryer on the lowest setting keeping the heat even and then just peal it off with ur fingers, itll come off ez then wipe off the lil bit of residue left behind

Goo gone and patience. If the car is new, they generally just peel right off.
I used one of my wife's plastic spatulas. ...and no, she didn't see me using it. She loves me dearly, but that would not go over well.

if its fairly new - using low heat and a fingernail will be fine. If its getting old (more than a month or so old) it might be a little more stubborn but persistance pays off.

If you have a lighter shade, take it off asap or oxidation and UV penetration will show varying paint shades between where it was and where it wasnt. when youre done, hit it with a bit of wax or if oxidation has started (shouldnt have), hit it with a light polish then a bit of wax.

I only had the car for 1 month so it pretty new.

i going to try that drier thing cause i don't think i good enough to put a razor on my own car.(screwy) not taking that chance

As previously stated, have the dealer remove it or have them pay for advertisement space. Quick and effortless, plus any damage to the paint will be covered by them.

(alright)

kinda like drinking milk outta the carton - perfectly okay if she's not looking.
:)

Can you actually go to a dealership to have them take the sticker off? I have never heard of this before until now.
I wouldn't have even left the dealer with the car until they removed it...but yes..If you complain..they should remove it.
