Ps2 Slim In Glove Box Done W Pics

as cool as this is (and you really did a nice job) why do you need a video game console in your car? I'm probably the wrong guy to ask this since I've got an indash nav (pioneer avic d3) that I occasionally use to watch (more like listen and occasionally watch) movies/tv shows/etc on while I'm driving... but video games are a completely different animal. I suppose if you're driving people around a lot that's one thing. but from what I see, only the passenger would have a chance at seeing the screen clearly enough. But either way, if you've put all this time and money into hookin up your ride with a ps2 just so your passengers can be entertained while you drive em around then... well, you're a much better man than I.

A. Bragging rights of your goodies and handiwork
B. What, you've never had to wait in for your car before? :-)

Great pics!...Your install is awesome. I got the Hatch so i dont know about installing it in the back, but it really works for you. I might intall the GPS under the cup holders, A lot of room down there. how much do you pay for XM a month?. The reason i got the PS2 Slim for DVD play back is because: 1= its really thin and although the Glove Box is big, well i still like to use it to fit in more crap and 2= The PS2 Slim's controllers work on 2.4 ghz so i can make control commands with the glove box lid closed with no problem and well being able to play games is a plus!. The passengers in the back seat can watch movies and even play games with no viewing issues.

haha in he first picture is that game Tekken?
haha but anyways thats an awesome idea!
(cool)PROPS!

Playing the game while the turbo cools down after a hard run is definatedly better than sitting there doing nothing. I would recomend this mods to anyone. They are fairly easy to do, while keeping the OEM look, therefore minimizing the chance of some A-HOLE breaking the window take your Stuff. You know what they say "OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND". UUmmmm, maybe a turbo timer is a good idea.....Thanks!

Activation fee was $14.99 and monthly bill is $12.95. Sometimes they have $9.99 specials.
There are people who install Xbox and PS2 to these monitors.
I was trying to connect my laptop today to see how it looks and it looks good. RCA and S-Video connections work well with the monitor.
Instead of having to carry a laptop, a car pc with RCA and S-video outputs is a great option. I'll take some pictures later. ;)

The turbo in the MS3 doesn't need to cool down (like the MSP's) but, even if you want to play it safe, that process takes a whole 1-2 minutes. I'm not the biggest gamer in the world but I at least know there aren't too many games you can pick up and play for a couple minutes... then put down. So chances are you'll be sitting in your car for at least another few minutes after the engine's shut off. Word of caution... I've got a friend who runs a garage. He gets at least 1 call a week from AAA, some insurance company, whatever.... asking that he jumpstarts some shmo who's battery died. He tells me the #1 reason by far is they were sitting in their car (doing whatever) with the engine off and the radio on... for an older battery, it won't take too long before it says goodnight. Being that shmo a few times in the past... it's a pain in the ass so don't let it happen to you.
