The MS6 Build-a-Beast is coming very soon...(Pics)

So did meth not work out? Did you ever try to get tuned for it?
I did not get tuned for it. I had to spend all of my dyno time on fine tuning. It cost me an ass load of money for the fine tune so I just said to hell with the meth. But he started to and made like 5whp right off the bat but I was already into to deep. $500! I decided it best to call it a day.(lol2)(lol2)

So Thursday I went shopping for a new car. I went to Ford to look at the GT 350 but it was $40,000. I went by BMW to look at the new Twin turbo 135i coupe. I took it for a test drive and fell in love. The handling feels the same as my friends evo 8 and the power is just insane. I talked to a few 135i guys on the forum who said they dyno'd stock 280whp and 290wtq. So i thought to myself, for a BMW with a sick suspension, a i6 and twin turbo's for the same price as an evo or sti is an awesome deal. That day I ordered mine from Germany. I got it in Alpine white with black seats. I am now waiting 6 weeks to get it. This is the worst part but when it comes it will be worth it. I looked up the Dinan stage 1 flash for the 135i and it produces 384hp and 421tq bone stock. As far as my MS6 goes, it will be getting traded in when my 135i arrives. Good luck to those who are taking the torch from me and finding a way to make alot of power with the MS6.

now that looks much nicer...plus they have two doors, convertibles and 4 doors...not to mention it has the same motor as the 135i...v6 twins!

Chris, Nice decision on the 135. I am more partial to the 335, but God damn .. I would trade the MS6 and maybe even give them my first born for either one.

Anyway, been trying to contact you via PM's and emails for a week ... I want to buy some of your parts, local pickup. PM me back with whats available.

Let me know when it comes because a group of us BMW owners get together in fairfield atleast once a month. Mainly E36 guys but I would love to see your 135 when it comes in. Personally I would have gotten the vert though (flame2)

sure, i'd love to come to a meet. I dont really care for the verts because i like to race 1/4 mile and the verts are usually alot heavier. Im on the 1addicts forum and they have meets with all different BMW's at bear mountain during the summer.

Sucks it didnt work out!

dealers dont go by KBB anymore they use there little black book, plus there gonna send his car straight to auction cause of the mods, and auction price is lower then sale.

You are aware that the "little black book" they use IS Kelly Blue Book right?

I've seen their black books and I've been to Ford, Mazda, BMW, and Mercedes dealers, they say Kelly Blue Book inside..... they're just "dealer editions" in the small sizes, when I bought my speed6, I saw his "black book" on the price he was giving me for my truck, it was a KBB book, so I dunno what dealers you visit. Sorry if yours is different... maybe some places (different states) have just adapted to different means of usage right? I recall a friend of mine up north once telling me the dealers used NADA(poke)

you already have the 135?

did you get the i or the xi? just curious.

I was driving down from Orlando FL back home to Miami and I ran into an old dude in a 135i.... you could tell he'd just gotten it cause it still had the paper tag. It looked like a really nice car, and I bet it's quirky too being light and having the TT engine.

anyone else think its weird that kelley blue book doesnt even have the ms6 in there for 2007.

Are you serious? lol, Mine is a 2006 so it never occured to me to try for 2007.... how about NADA.com, do they have the 2007?

ya...NADA has 2007.

Well, everything is screwed up these days anyway.... half the dealers I've been to that use/used KBB wouldn't accept the printouts I brought of NADA whenever I went "car shopping" and brought a printout for either a trade-in or a new car value to talk them down in price.

And now people say dealers are starting to use GALVES.... which doesn't even let you check your car for "free"

and KBB doesn't have the 2007 models? sucks. I don't blame them though, give it some time. For a long while there wasn't an option for "mazdaspeed6" on some websites like tirerack and discounttiredirect.... but it's there now.

On another note, it's sad to see that Chris ended up with deciding to get rid of the Speed.... I was REALLY looking forward to seeing what steps he'd take to fix the ECU issue.

Has anyone heard anything lately about the PROcede or Miniceptor (sp?) for our cars yet??

i don't feel it was an ECU issue on this car honestly. a gentleman with the proCEDE supposedly blew up his car after having it dyno tuned but i don't know if thats verboten information or not.
