$2008 GRM V8 Nissan 240sx

....KA24E truck engine....those engines come in the 89 240 too. I know a guy who has a pretty nasty setup on a KA24DE, made it into a KA24DE-T. If you look on altimas.net, his name is black hornet, havent talked to him since I got rid of my 94 Altima, but he is real knowledgeable on boosting the KA24 motor. Also try checking www.antrx.com, its an australian website but most of the cars on that site have the KA motor...plus they can get you some pretty sick parts for pretty cheap. When I was building the Altima up, I really wanted to get the boosted version of the KA motor that is in the Attessa(AWD Altima in AUS). I don't know man, its cool to see a breath of fresh air in theis mazda world. Definately subbin on this thread. Good luck on the build man.

I have a customer that is planning on doing the 08 GRM challenge with an e30. We'll see if me makes it. The car is kicking his butt at the moment.

1 more month until school's out + I'm bringing the 240sx down to the house.

*starts looking for engine/trans swaps*

New old parts

-Freshly rebuilt T25/TD04 turbo w/ oil fittings and blank exhaust flange [$80 craigslist]
-HUGE XS Engineering FMIC [$10 Cool Cat Racing]

Yes, that's my ID compared to the FMIC. :D

I've chosen to stick with the SOHC KA24E because of the cost, weight, and part availability.
KA-T.org convinced me that the SOHC engine could put 350+ whp with minor mods.
I was looking at the RB20DET swap because it would've only cost $550 but it's not worth the weight over the front sub-frame.
That and parts are harder to come by.

Megaskeet-I is on the way as well!

well that car isnt going to be very fast...it doesnt even have any wheels!

It will be eventually.

All mods ----> caged chassis.
Current car ----> back to stock.

wait, are you ditching the v8 240sx to go to that protege? or ditching the protege to do the v8 240sx?

or are you taking your 'current car' (the badass sleeper turbo protege!) and putting that one back to stock? =(
