What have you done to your MSP today?

Which plugs did you end up going for?

installing my colder plugs tomorrow..as well as a new battery.. prolly a Redtop.... and fixing my AFC V2 in place.. i got it in the glove box but not positionned like i want it to. then going to drive it... if the snow lets me..
 
This morning I embarassed my MSP by making her sit infront of a car with pretty flashing lights.

Left with a 48 in a 30 ticket, $154 and change :(

What really sucks is it was on a downhill, and I was just coasting along engine braking in 3rd or 4th, don't really recall (It was 3AM and taking a relative to the airport). It necks down to one lane right after he clocked me, then hits a neighborhood. I generally get on the brakes once it goes to one lane, to as not coast down the hill too fast through someones neighborhood. Where I was clocked is mostly empty. Even dumber, is going up the hill its a 40, but down the hill its a 30!!!

What was the speed limit before the downgrade? you could claim you were still getting down to the new speed limit and that is why you were braking on the hill and not accelerating. you could also claim that you were maintaining your momentum to get up the hill and to make 40 mph without having to accelerate through the neigborhood so you can be safer. Might be able to get a pbj by going with guilty with an explanation and saying something like what is above.
 
anyone know if you can put clear coat over vinyl graphics? ive got an idea for something that is either gonna look ridiculous or really cool but i dont want to waste time and money if the clear coat will ruin the vinyl. also if anyone has used seafoam which line did you use; the brake booster line or the pcv line. now before you say "do a search" i have and every search yields p5's or lx, dx, or es proteges, the idea has been mentioned but without any real certainty, it is usually a question on these threads that since the msp has a turbo you cant use the brake boost line but not definitive answer has ever been posted. so let me know which line you used because i do not want to use the wrong one.
They have the same engine and IIRC both have the same check valve in the brake booster line. The only differences are the turbo stuff (obviously), an oil cooler, clamps on all vacuum lines and the MSPs have a check valve on the purge solenoid line. Aside from those few things the cars are the same. Running seafoam through the engine will not do anything to damage the turbo. Now I have heard however that you should not run it through the oil system with a turbo due to the turbo's oil seals, etc.
 
indeed. I would imagine all cars with brake boosters have a check valve, dont need the evil Hg's to be up in your brake booster steelin' your pressures.

Installed falken springs and rev wheels last night. I'll get some better pics tonight. These were just some quick shots.

I'm off to wash my car .. maybe i can get some better shots after ... its bothering me having a car thats dirty as hell.
 
how u like the drop?

I love it so far. Honestly the ride is a lot better than stock too. I thought that it was going to be more rough but in my opinion its a lot more comfortable. I love the look of the rims too. The stupid center caps don't fit on the rear wheels though. I think that i'm going to try and file down the inside some and try to put them in. I'm trying to find some mazda logos to put in them. Should be very clean then.
