Is that the Eisenhower I spy you on there? What are your duties on-board?

Here's one from a guest speaker we had at Penn State last night...

(Sorry for the grainy quality... low light so ISO800 and some Photoshop fale at lightening it...)

The 2 boats in one shot, timed just right. Killer photo skillz. I could only dream of being that good.

It was the Reagan actually; and thank goodness I'm no longer attached. Am currently inspecting for COMNAVAIRFORCE.

Thanks man! I just got of the Marine Corps 5 days ago after 4 years and 2 months as a Combat Photographer. I spent a total of 17 months in Iraq with my last tour being 13 months. (bang) Now I'm out and its all good! (yippy)

First image from a sunrise set at the Tidal Basin, Washington, DC. I was lucky to get down there about 50 minutes before sunrise. I'll add other pictures agter conversion from RAW.

This image was shot with the camera mounted on a tripod and the flash fired into my reflective umbrella hand-held out over the water. The flash was triggered using inexpensive eBay slaves.

thats funny, I have a pic from washington that looks just like that. except mine was a dreary day in february, so no sun or blooms. Huge pics so I'll attach that one and a couple others from the trip

Here are some more of my photos from Iraq. These are just a select few but you can look at more here (www.flickr.com/photos/sdcorum). I have over a hundred already uploaded to my Flickr but I still have many many more to go through.

A Navy Corpsman at Observation Post Sina'a in Al Fallujah. We had been up for more than 30 hours building and fortifying the new OP with sandbags.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sdcorum/1231974176/" title="Devil-Doc-2 by SDCorum, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1296/1231974176_78c39f245f_o.jpg" width="572" height="720" alt="Devil-Doc-2" /></a>

This is a shot of the Marines with 3rd Platoon, E Company, 2d Battalion, 6th Marines trying to get some sleep in 120+ degree heat out at OP Sina'i after the long night of moving sandbags and building it up. I joined them shortly after the photo.(sleep)

A night vision shot of a Marine on patrol in Fallujah. I got to play with some badass equipment out there! This night vision sat between the camera body and the lense.

Two Marines with 3d Battalion, 5th Marines take cover inside a garage in Fallujah while on patrol.

A tank patrols through the center of Al Fallujah.

This photo was taken in Karmah at the Iraqi Police Station. The patrol base/police station had come under attack by insurgents and I ran to the roof top with the Soldiers and Iraqi Police when the shooting started. Here an Iraqi reloads his machine gun while another ducks for cover against the sandbag fortification on the roof.

This is what I saw one morning when I woke up on Camp Fallujah on the few days I was not outside the wire on patrol or living in the city of Fallujah. No color correction has been made and it is three photos pieced together using PhotoStitch.
