I would probably rather replace the entire piece rather than cut the OEM piece. But then again, if people have had bad experiences, then no reason to get it.

The lotek bolts ontop of the stock piece?

i have never seen the lotek one so i dont know, i thought it just sticks on with double sided tape.

thats how they say to do it, but after buying and installing one.. i had to drill holes cause double sided tape didnt hold sh*t.

Double sided sticky tape is so weak. I remember when I had installed my body kit on my Grand Am. The side rockers and rear panel was supposed to be double sided tape. We ended up using a 2-stage 3M Epoxy. That sucker never moved hehe.
