Help!!! I Dunno Whats Wrong

I just went in for my 7500 mile check up and they said everything looks good. God only knows if they actually check anything but for some reason I trust that the Mazdaspeed trained technician knows what the hell he is doing.

Glad they spotted the problem and are fixing it though. Caught it before it was too late.

OK........how does the Cobb intake put metal in the inlet tube #1? IT'S PLASTIC! 100% PLASTIC. I am going to say that these leaky turbos have an oiling problem. Oiling problem will cause premature bearing wear and or failure and the shaft will rock........just a few .001" is all it takes.........and wammo. Little pieces of the inlet turbine are in the inlet pipe.

I had just cobb intake and MBC and my turbo ate itself as well. I got a new turbo under warrenty.

did you put it back to stock or leave your mods on when you took it in? cause i know yesterday when i took my car in they were grillin me about any mods to my car. haha

how high did you crank the boost? i would look to that before the intake being the problem.

LOL - My service guys always want to know what updates I have done, then we normally talk for about 30m about cars. They are really cool guys. I just hope they are still cool if I ever need Warranty Work.
