Added a chrome lip to my OZ's

i want to see up a camera in my car for vandalism and stuff. this way if something happens i can review the tape and beat the crap out of them

yea well, you can only do so much. Best thing is to try. Sometimes ur out of luck.(argh)

so ur getting a whole new set? that leaves u with 3 good rims and 1 ****** up rim, do u plan on keeping them for spares?

not sure if theyre gonna get me the whole set or not. thats what I would like. I dont have enough garage space really to keep these and the stockers as spares, I will probly just sell them

I live in MA...if you end up with a whole set let me know how much you want to sell the beaten for and ill converse about buying them off of you. 1st dibs if thats the case.

you should jsut get the 1 new rim and sell the other 3 with the curbed rim, it would be like u got ur rims free after u sell them

week 4 update - I am in a battle with the claims dept now, this is a HUGE f'in headache. This guy is trying to deny the claim now, saying there is no concrete evidence that they caused the damage. The claim form that THEY filled out says that the damage is fresh and that the attendant caused it. He then asked for a reciept and offered to pay me $85, he couldnt read the reciept I gave him and thought that the $335 "price each" was the price for the set. Now I am threatening to get the hotel manager and a lawyer involved, I hope that speeds up the claim. I assume the average person would have quit by now and that is what they are hoping for. I however am very stubborn and will not rest until I have that wheel replaced. agghhhhhhh sooo frustrating

Stick with it man, good luck!!

These people seem to never have respect for vehicles that are obviously the pride and joy of their owners, and certainly won't understand the importance of having all four wheels in pristene condition, just the way we keep them ourselves. The average customer would never notice a curbed wheel since they bounce their cars off of curbs all the time anyhow. Try and teach this guy and his team to have more respect for our prized possessions!

It's not quite that bad but it does have a sweet assed flat spot on it. I'm not sure. I don't recall hitting anything ever. I might have a small discussion with my wife however. Just one wheel though. So I have that going for me...which is nice....

that would have to be a hell of a pot hole...

Sounds like a nightmare dealing with those guys. One time a tow company towed a car of mine and ripped the bumper half way off and they wouldn't pay for it so we had to take it to small claims court to get the money. So I am guessing that you will probly end up having to go to small claims court and they probly won't show so you will just have to show the judge why they owe you money and that the amount is resonable for the damage done and you will win. That's how it worked out for me the tow company didn't show.

ugh that is NOT what I wanted to hear... I spoke with the hotel manager again today and she apologized to me and is calling the garage company to try and push my case along. I know that this garage company would not like to lose this hotel's business, so hopefully this little nudge will move them along. Besides, its always good to have someone else on your side...

Yea the way they are giving you the runaround is just the same way the tow company was acting in my case. I think this is just the way alot of these joints do business. they just keep BSing you hoping you will go away and it probly works 90% of the time. I didn't need a lawyer for small claims court if you were worried about that.

yeah im not worried about that, this hotel was in DC tho, which is like 3 hours drive from here, so any reason that I would have to go down there would mean missing work and a major PITA

I see. That is a bad spot then. Can you get a paid day off from work? Possibly take a sick day/personal day maybe? But then it's a matter of how much gas are you gonna burn to go down there so I might not even be worth it at all.
