Corksport or HKS CBE?! DECISIONS?!

I think both Corksport and Cobb's try to trick the ECU. I've seen a couple posts about a CEL coming and going with the Corksport but I don't think theres been any serious problems...or it might have been a problem when it first came out and now it's fixed? I'm not sure. I read the Cobb AP will be able to disable that CEL or something if you did have that problem.

What do you mean by does it have to be flashed?

to take out the cel. like on my gti, i ran catless and had a constant cel, i could of gone to a shop and got rid of the cel but i never did, due to laziness.

It's designed to defeat the CEL...try a search for corksport and CEL. I think most people haven't had problems with it.

GHL drone FTL... it really gets to you when u have that special someone next to you and you can't hear what they're saying. i got used to it, others didnt. HAHA oh well screw them. but they are nice. just supppper loud.

ghl has a 'drone-free' exhaust for the ms3, but its just a catback. I think its supposed to be fairly quiet too?

Buy the system with the biggest resonator and biggest muffler if you want something quiet.

Anyone with the Corksport CBE able to get a photo of the exhaust tip? The photo on Cork's site isn't very good and I just saw a youtube video that made the tip look like s***. I will not put anything on my car that looks like s*** so I'd appreciate a shot from an actual owner.

i'm not sure if this is tru but i remeber reading that the hks highpower exhuast for our cars is 2.5 inches in diamiter NOT 3inches. Our stock pipe is 2.5 inches so whats the point?? just cut out the resinators. Or go with corksprt as they are 3inch i beleive

I like the way it looks, just a 3.5inch tip, rolled edge.

Thanks aaronc7, laziness prevailed and I didn't do enough research. The video I saw was the CS cbe for the n/a 3, not the MS3 like the video stated.
