yeah i don't know either but he's gonna do his best, he pumps the s*** out some civic heads though, i'll be happy with any gain and it's gonna rev to 8k

Wow lots of replies, I dig it.

EGR - The plan here is to make a plate that you will bolt your EGR valve/solenoid to. It will have a "in fitting" that you will hook up to your stock EGR line. Then you will hook up a short flexible piece of hard line, from the out fitting on the plate, to a port on the new manifold. Should work perfectly, and you won't have to run a whole new line. This is going to be a extra add-on option, so anyone who wants to delete the EGR can order the manifold without that option.

Pics - I just got home from picking up the new floor plate, and I need to find my polish. Going to polish everything up, and then I will post some pics of all the components. I will set everything together how it will sit so you guys can get an idea of what it will look like.

I also got the welding quote today, and we are still on target. Kelly is going to drop by either tonight or tomorrow after work and we are going to sit down and make the final cost list. I will post up the final cost and open the GB up before the end of the week.

We are still going to dyno test it, hopefully Sander will be ready for that real soon, but any of you guys who wants to get in on the early bird list are free to do so. I won't be closing the GB or taking deposits until after testing is done, so anyone who is waiting on the testing will still be able to get in on it.

PICS!!!

Here is the new plenum floor in all it's glory:

Here is the new floor vs our first run at it:

Here is a shot of what the inside of the plenum will look like:

Same shot but with the TB flange on there:

I used the cardboard/ducttape runners from my mockup piece in these pics so I could give you guys a "finished" look at it. The end cap on the opposite end of the TB opening will be at an angle (instead of flat) on the finished piece.

So that's pretty much what she'll look like. As always, any questions or comments, POST 'EM UP! :)

looks awesome...whats the purpose of the other end being at an angle? just out of curiosity. Also, how much you think this will weigh (about)?

The end cap being at an angle is just better for flow purposes, instead of the air hitting a straight wall at the end, it will be angled downward towards the floor.

Final weight is 4.8 lbs.
Stocker weighs in at a portly 15.6lbs.

:)

Cool...i thought it was for the air flow but just wanted to make sure...curiosity is gonna kill me

If u think about the flow, picture it flowing like water.
That volume of air will inevitably feed the 1st, 2nd and 3rd velocity stacks before reaching the 4th. You dont want to risk starving that last cylinder's air flow!
I think the angle deflects the flow and induces an additional vortex near the end of the chamber, ensuring plenty of available air flow.

I love those stax! (godown)(godown)(godown)

Lookin' good.

Man, that head flange is super thick.

Is that going to be machined to accept the injectors and will there be bosses for the stock fuel rail?

Just wondering about the flow on this thing....are you confident all runners will flow equally or close? Just asking...not sure what the science behind all this is but to me...it looks like cylinder 4 has a sharp turn.

Looks great. Good call on perfecting the floor area and air horns. Much nicer piece because of it. It may take longer, but it is so obvious when somebody takes the time to put out a quality product. Cheers.

you should sell it like it is, duct tape/cardboard runners n all. i'm sure it would have most excellent gains lolz
