2008.5 have been hitting the ground for a couple weeks now. you will start seeing more and more over the next few weeks, since most of the first batch are at port. a second wave is expected in april/may.

Brown Honda?
What color are you getting? When is it set to arrive? When did you order?
Sorry about all the questions..... long story.
Went to a local dealership to check out the 1st MG MS3...
not overly impressed with the color. I was hoping for something a bit more along the lines of a charcoal. I feel this color instead leans more towards the somewhat passive CB... which isn't really my bag. I feel Silver is hands down the best color for this car. It fits its personality perfectly and the fact that it matches the wheels just makes it look badass. So clearly, for me, everything else is going to pale in comparison.
Inside was a different story. With the exception of the ridiculous mazdaspeed sticker on the dash. (seriously folks... it's a freakin sticker! lol i mean... wtf?) the rest of it looks great. better than great really... total class! lovin the piano black and the white dials... the mp3 disc capability is a nice touch. somewhat negates the benefit of a GT with its 6 disc changer. there's also an aux jack in the center console... though that might be on the others too.
Last but not least... the seats. This was a sport model so... no alacantra. I as sort of bummed since that was the #1 thing I wanted to check out. Even still... the sport seats on this gen imo are better than last. they're a bit more subdued with an all black look... side from the red sticked mazdaspeed... but as we all know... the ms3 seats are about as good as any stock seat can get. I guess I just prefer the all black look... will proibably wear better over time too.
the jury's still out till I see a GT... especially in white. I've got a bad feeling that color is going to be ridiculously tough to get at a decent price... but oh well. might be worth it. the alacantra material, if it's half as good in person as it was in those pics, might be reason enough to get the GT. If not... i'll have to find a lefover 08 silver... and put a sticker on my dash

I'm not surprised it was a sticker. In past pictures of the interior, I could see the edge of the sticker curling up and that was my first hint.

i'm a little kid again....
so i'm at work right now, and i look to the left of the showroom....and i see the marvelous yellow truck with 2 beautiful speed3's on it.....crystal white pearl, and metro gray....i just died and went to heaven....the white is even more sexy in person, and i can't wait to go play with the new goodies inside....i just thought i would share the excitement...(they're here 2 weeks early)

reading the manual it says it was 'pre-broken in'. the day after i bought mine i drove down to houston from dallas, all throughout houston, and back to dallas. I put about 1200miles on the car, mostly highway - pretty much the way it should be done, in my opinion.
congrats!! you now own perhaps the most sought after mazda since... the last gen rx-7
ok ok... maybe that's a stretch but the white MS3 GT is about as hot as it gets. Rest assured that, if you take good care of it, your resale value will remain sky high... demand for these cars is going to be ridiculous.
So were you able to get any type of deal on it?
sticker huh? yeah... I guess so. But, as much as I love the white, I'd probably rather get an 08 for $100 over invoice and use the money saved for mods... but then again, that color is hot... and will easily be the most coveted so you can't go wrong.
just make sure you take off the dealer plates... and get rid of that front license plate. told mylocal dealership them putting 2 bullet holes in my front bumper for a stupid plate I'll never put on is a dealbreaker... law? F that!
