May need help installing the WGA

LOL sorry. What I meant was we'll have to do it Sunday, as I'm house / dog sitting for a friend on Saturday.

I was talking to someone at work when I originally wrote that, apparently I can't multitask very well lol

So, my buddy really wants to change this piece for me. I just picked it up from Scott yesterday after a long conversation with a guy who kept asking me how fast I've taken my car, how fast it CAN go, and telling me he sees them all the time. Nice guy.

So in all, after all this, I may not even need the available garage. Thanks a ton though for the offer. I am still down to hang out and possibly tool around a little on the cars (if not mine, yours). Let me know.

.

135-140mph varies with who you talk too and what not but mine stopped going at 135

Yeah...about that...I'll get you some gas money when I dig myself out of this blown diff-induced financial hole I'm about to be in.

What led you to the conclusion of popped diff?

(Sorry Dale, you get thread jacked yO!)

I guess one good thing is that I have two new axles, so I'll be on a pretty fresh drivetrain. If I had the money, I'd do a new clutch while it was all apart. I need another car so I can do what I want to my s*** lol.

Anyone got a lonely 500$ car sitting around?

That's fine, at least mines FIXED.......bastard.

But in all seriousness, I got my WGA on this weekend. Me, Will, and our friend Meat took the old WGA and took a bandsaw to it. Turns out the diaphram (sp.) was tore. Is the stock WGA on the MSP usually threaded on the rod? If not, the one we took off was. You could easily blow air into the vac line so we knew it was broken.

So now here is what I need to know. Could anyone (preferably with a stock MSP or HAD a stock MSP) drive my car or allow me to ride in theirs? I want to see if what mine has is what they normally feel like. I always thought it felt a little slow to be a turbo car but apparently the hell I've been giving it might be all it has.

My next purchase is a boost gauge. That brings me to another point. Does anyone have a Hayes Manual for the MSP and could someone tell me where the boost reference point is for the boost gauge. I figure the gauge will tell me if I am getting the boost I should be getting.

I don't have a clue. Basically, where do you attach a line from the turbo into a boost gauge. That's what I want to know. That's what I was told it was called.

anywhere off the intake manifold is fine the best place is the brake booster line before the check valve

OH... that makes more sense. Yea, I've seen a lot of folks cutting in and T-ing off of the brake booster line for that.

Cool. Any suggestions on gauges. AutoMeter seems to be a good one. Also, mounting, any preferences? I figured on the steering column or right over the trip odometer.

cant stand the autometer...look into the prosport premium (scott has one) or if your ballin you can go with defi, greddy, HKS, Blitz ect.
