Guitar Hero III, anyone?

I just got Guitar Hero III for the Wii.

Damn near beat it on easy the first night I played it, and now I'm in Japan in medium and it's getting really tough.

I'm trying to practice my hammer-ons and pull-offs, but it's rough.

Anyone else play?

love guitar hero III. i'm on set 7 on hard. i can beat the muse song on quickplay but when it comes to career, i fail every time so I stopped playing.

my wife wanted to play but she doesn't like the guitar so we picked up rock band this weekend.

LOL.....Nice. I got GH2 from a forum member used then went in sold the game and got another guitar but wireless and grabbed GH3 as well. I'm playing it on Hard, but I have good hand eye coordination and rhythm.... Drumset anyone?

Sucks IMO. I played it at game stop a few weeks ago. Not as much fun I wanna say but try it out at the store if you want. You might like it.

i can play expert pretty easily. this came used to be so hard, but now its so easy. im actually quite embarresed of this and stop playing the game lol. you gotta love college life.....

the guitar hero controller is way better than the rock band one. in terms of difficulty, hard on rock band is in between medium and hard on guitar hero. i'm tempted to start rock band over on expert.

my wife loves the drums, though.

I love GH3. Been playing since the first Guitar Hero. I finally got all 5 stars on all songs on Hard last week, and I'm trying to beat expert, but Raining Blood is a real pain in the ass right now.

Yeah, I can't even do Raining Blood on EASY. I can get 5 stars on every other song on easy, yet i can't even pass Raining Blood.

Raining Blood on all difficulties is a hell of a challenge, compared to other songs on that difficulty. I'm not sure I ever want to try Through Fire And Flames again on expert. It puts Jordan to shame on GH2, it really does.

Picked up rock band for the wifey awhile back also....dont really like it much. The guitar itself just feels different than GH3 when playing. I think we played it twice since we've got it...

I'm the GH3 poser. Got the skin. Got the wii hooked up to the 61" in the livin room but here's the issue, I am 47. There wasn't even pong until I was teenager. Didn't grow up with controller in hand. I haven't spent the time indoors to be any game guru. But my 20 yr old kids have unlocked the game for me so I don't have to keep doing the same 4 songs over & over & I can actually do a few on easy without getting booed off stage. LOL. I wish there was some sort of freeplay where it would be like just you sittin around makin your own noise instead of just string sync-ing songs. It would be more interesting that way. (idhitit), (boobs), (godown), watchin tube & passin out for another day in the rat race, fixin s*** around the house/yard OR actually going outside in the real world to go surfin, mt bikin, kayakin, or heaven forbid...prankin around with da ridez usually bump the wii to lower priority so no, I don't rock..........yet.

i got it back when it came out for the wii. i have one (got it 99% saturday, i was pissed), raining blood and the battle with lou left on hard, then since those are hard i started my expert career and go to the battle with tom morello. i'm starting to get bored with it cause the stuff i have left to beat is hard and needs more time than i have effort to put in

The lazy choice...PUSH through!! I can even start expert yet.

After failing the battles a few times, you can opt to skip them. I needed to badly on the Slash battle on expert, it's freakin tough. So not looking forward to the final battle, I'll probably never pass it. The metal version of Devil Went Down To Georgia is pretty awesome though.
