I installed a turbo x's full down pipe on another member on here's car last night. We're going to post a full how-to soon but i just want to let everyone know the gist of things. first i have to say turbo x's are ******* awesome for the way they designed the top of the DP. they put to small slots on each side to make it alot easier to tighten the bolts at the turbo flange. most people may not relize thats why those things are there but coming from a installer for the last nine years i can tell you thats why they're there and it made my life 1,000 times easier to install it. Removing the stock DP is a pain and you have to have patients but it took me about 2 hours to remove the stock DP heat shields and all and install the turbo x's DP and have the car running. unfortunitly for the owner he is now a member as i found out when i removed the intercooler that he's a member of the bad turbo club his car was a 07' GT.
and of course BOTH 02 sensor were screwed in wrong and were a b**** to get out. use lots of penatrating oil best stuff would be PB blast or something like it but BE CAREFUL not to get it into the sensor itself or you'll screw it up. We're going to post a full how-to and write soon but all in all i have to say turbo x's craftmen ship was great and fit-met was almost perfect just make sure to have the spacer plate. We'll post the other stuff soon just wanted to give a alitte insight into how things worked out. wish i was installing it on my car but that'll be later and i don't mind helping people out.
