I am the original owner. Car would make a great parts car, and still runs great as a daily driver. I am accepting offers and am willing to negotiate the price of the vehicle. I would prefer not to parts the car out, due to the fact that I am in the military and do not have the time or the space to remove the parts myself. Some people have already expressed interest in the parts, and if the car is sold to someone who is going to sell the parts, I would be happy to let you know which people have already expressed interest in what.

You may be able to get the seat belts to release by tilting them to the proper angle and pulling gently. I seem to recall doing that with mine.

It'd be easy enough to fix those belts...just pull out the back seat, unbolt the end from the floor, bolt spool into position, pull belt out, bolt end back down. (I totally did that when installing my harnesses, I didn't feel like messing with gator clips, and felt lucky)

EDIT: I wish this had been around when I bought my Protege...such a better deal.

Car needs to sell ASAP! The Marine Corps just moved us 3000 miles, and jacked up our pay, and you know how the military is about fixing their screw ups........make an offer!!!

Some of the parts have been sold from the car, and returned to stock parts. We are still trying to sell the car, and have lowered the price to $2500 OBO

We are in Vista, CA the nearest airport is San Diego, which about 45 minutes from where we are. LAX is about 2-2.5 hours away, but sometimes it's cheaper.
