Stock Speed3 exhaust on regular 3

I could be mistaken, but I believe I read somewhere that a stock Mazdaspeed3 catback can fit on a regular Mazda3 and yeild some gains. I'm just wondering if this is the case, as if it is, I am going to be a bit less likely to cut my stock exhaust off when I install the Corksport this weekend, and try to sell the stocker. Thanks for any info.

Exact same situation(corking also) let me know how you remove where if you cut thks

we actually installed a few of them on regular 3's and they sound awesome. We cut where the exhaust goes over the rear axle and put in flanges and had to extend roughly 11 inches on the front side of the exhaust to make it work.

there is a slight gain but nothing amazing.

I have a MS3 stock catback exhaust that I'd be willing to part with. It has one cut near the rear wheel. So it would require welding it together (which isn't a big deal at all for an exhaust shop to do).
