i've never heard of 20% being a yardstick for FWD transmission loss....

I have. But I've never put too much stock in the validity of it. I think someone just took an average of all drivetrain losses and came up with a "rule of thumb" which then was used for everything.

i never give real hp numbers to anyone. i just say around 112-120 whp w/ the mods i have... because im sure my actual hp falls somewhere in b/w there

why do you never give real hp numbers to anyone?

how do you substantiate your 112-120hp claims if you flatly refuse to provide "real numbers" ?

because i cant say for sure if i have 112whp. it could be higher or lower. so i just say i have b/w 112 and 120 whp. because those are the 2 numbers i see constantly from other people with similar mods. so im sure my actual whp falls somewhere in that realm
