After Market Pedals

Hey guys. I have a 2007 M3 and would like to install a set of racing pedals to make the interior look better. I bought a set but with the drilling needed, I couldn't install the accelerator pedal since it is plastic. There is no way I could drill into this. Anyone know of what I could use to install racing pedals as I had them on my MS Protege and miss having them on this car. Any feedback is appreciated.
