The MS6 Build-a-Beast is coming very soon...(Pics)

I tapped into my hot pipe (pipe coming out the turbo) for the pressure source for my MBC...

Don't have a pic, but here's a pic of where I tapped it on my stock TMIC, I had it like this for 3 days, no issues.

It doesn't spike at all with the standback. Why would you use a passive controller when the standback actively monitors the boost and corrects for changes in realtime~especially when you already have the standback.

the standback does control boost but it still has to go through the crappy stock boost crontroller which i dont trust. Id rather go with a proven mbc or ebc that is used on higher hosepower cars.

I was wondering if your car's idle has smoothed out given you've had some time for your stock ems to learn the new engine components

the idle was never rough. I had a small vacuum leak on the tubing that runs to the BOV and after I fixed it, the car idle's fine. I had 1 or two hard starts but it was because the weather was around 20 degrees and I have NGK colder plugs. Other then that the car runs nice without the tune.

still waiting for a tune. today is the last chance for the tuner ive been currently waiting on for the past week. If it doesnt get started tonight, my car is going to another tuner.

So you're waiting on the tuner itself, but have the dyno available for you?

Any way you can do an before/after dyno of untuned vs tuned?Or will you be doing it all at once..

yea im waiting on the tuner himself.

I dont think I want to do a WOT run untuned. It might put me right back where I was 5 months ago. lol

sucks that they seem to be dicking you around

yea the guy is an awsome tuner, he is just known to have suck ass customer service skills. It was supposed to be tuned 3 days ago but the car they had on before that was having issues which I can understand. Now its just excuses like," i dont want to rush it because i want to make sure everything goes perfect." So today is his last chance to get started.

I want to see this beast soon, and get a ride in it if possible heh. In return I will give you a ride in my E36 M3. If you like?

you realize you can tune it yourself right? Im not sure what ems your using but if cpe's, you can figure it out in about 2 min.

It's going to be a little more difficult to make necessary adjustments on the street with lower compression internals and everything else he's got than it is with just an intake and a tbe. Deffinately should be done in a safe facility by someone who knows what they're doing, rather than on public roads by someone who thinks they know what they're doing cause they read a manual.
