Pump is on.... No problems. After the initial ECU "relearning" of, Im assuming, the MAF maps(or whatever..lol.) It took about 20-30 miles of stop and go, open throttle, and then idling, then normal driving, then repeat....for it to start acting "normal".... only it wasnt normal. In boost it was noticeablely different.... in a good way. And it wasnt just more power.
I finally got the confidence built up and made 6 or 7, 20-120 passes on the farm roads near my house. the thing is a fucken rocket. I notice a bigger difference than with my exhaust or intake.
Of course some of that could also be that I had my coilovers installed today as well....lol
Been a damn good day.
Dynos and hopefully maps of throttle etc will be posted in the next day or two. My tuner has me scheduled Thursday, but encouraged me to come back tomorrow as well. Stay tuned.
Thanks to Ken, Driver 311, and Protege Garage for walking a noob through the process of gladly and successfully pissing my warranty away for good..lol. But it seems like no problems so far. The guys have been immensely helpful.

At first it would stutter alittle out of stops.... stuttered a little in 4th and 5th if I got on the gas around 2500 rpms...
But even from the first moment, whenever it would hit boost it was sudden and violent...powerful. And then it would rage... I was excited but nervous as hell while it was "relearning"...
By the end though. It was turboed vtec. It felt like power was increasing all the way to redline. I would bet my house this is affecting throttle at high rpms... or even just in boost. Its just different. Im a modding noob remember...cut me some slack on the details...lol
I dont want to give it all away though. Im gonna have dynos and graphs, and pictures...yay... in the next 48 hrs. I'll post a detailed thread soon with all my details. I dont think a dyno has been posted yet.
If I have what I think I have.... even on a sorta stock vehicle... it should be big news. I dont want to talk it up, too much, until I have "the goods"![]()

Reason I'm so interested in your finding is that I believe I will soon have your basic set up; MS CAI and TBE...
What are your mods on your engine? From your signature I see you have a MS CAI and a Vibrant DP... Does the DP replace both cats?

why woudln't it come with install instructions?
Just a quick question. The Pump looks the same as the factory pump but with upgraded internals right? If so, replacing it should not effect the warranty as they will never know you upgraded the pump.
Or am I completely wrong?
