CorkSport Mid Pipe

So what about if you only have a MS CAI? Would that be the lower figure of 25hp? That seems like a good chunk of power if so.

Well i can tell you like this. I installed the downpipe and exhaust as my first power adder mods and i found that i could now break the tires loose by squeezing the throttle in second while rolling along. I just got my CAI in and now i can break traction in third, and i dont mean while shifting, i mean when it gets up to 5000+ they break loose......im very impressed.

So your setup is CAI, DP (Cork Sport), 2nd factory Cat, and exhaust (Cork Sport)...?

A lot of people with the new fuel pump (the mechanical one) are seeing results that should cure the fuel cut issue you're having. Maybe that's all it takes.

Ok :( i gave in, just ordered this from protege garage

Let us know how the midpipe works...

I took the plunge and ordered the CP-E catted DP which replaces the everything from the turbo to the CBE (also replaces both OEM cats with a high-flow metallic honeycomb cat)...

I hope so too... LOL
Don't you have it...?

I've been hearing so many good things (great power gains) about DP and mid-pipes that I got convinced on doing this mod...
Plus I needed another MS CAI power mod fix... :D

From all the available mods, TMIC or Fuel Pump, mid-pipe, (no PnP available yet), the DP seemed the next logical step...
I was forced into buy CP-E version (I liked CS version much better) due to the cat option... Didn't want my car to wreak like fuel...

how easy would it be to install this with the factory downpipe and catback?

it should be that hard, just take off a couple bolts then remove the test pipe and replace it with the aftermarket one and then screw back the bolts, no need for cutting or anything like that

what about the size difference? isn't the stock exhaust only 2.5"?

all the flanges are set up for 3" factory and aftermarket its easy all you have to do is drop some of the cross braces under your car and pull out second cat then reinstall test pipe its easy 1-1.5 hours tops
