Hks Ssql Help!!!

I had this bov on my stock setup on my Mazdaspeed 6.

I now have a Front Mount kit so I need someone who can install this BOV's C clamp in their sleep!

I tried but I can't get the C clamp to lock in place.

Help!!!!
I'm by Mall of Ga so if someone can come tonight or tomorrow let me know when that would be cool. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price. PM me!!

he happens to have that bov as well, but thats a bit of a drive. can you get it to sit in the flange and it just pops back out? try tapping it with a flat head around the perimeter after you have it sitting in the flange. It's just not going down far enough to get past the lip if that is what is happening.

Cant get the C Clamp in far enough to completely seal.

I have a set of those c clamp pliers but it is not going in.

yeah it'll take a ,little bit, but you shoul dbe able to get it started with the snap tool, then tap each edge in and under the lip with a flathead. It'll take a bit then you'll get it and be moving along quickly once its started.

hey i pmed you back after reading this it makes a little more sense. get the c clip in as bet you can then take a flat blade screw driver and tap the clip down with a screw driver and hammer

OK here are pics I have it in but the BOV still turns so I know it is not sealed yet

if it is in make sure that you also put the rubber peice under there too or else you have to take it off and do it all over again

Yes I put the rubber piece under it.

FYI hammers and BOV = New Bov LOL

I did'nt even hit that hard and it shattered the base. Now I need a new one. This sux @ss

LOL no small hammer. I have no clue why it did that LOL SUX!!!

I was told that if the bov can move it was not sealed.

Who told you if it can move it's not on? Probably Sutherlin right? If so, I'm not surprised. They pissed me off. Supposedly they are Mazdaspeed Dealers and I knew more about my car then they did. Totally sucks there too cause it's soo close. Oh well. Yeah! I am in Columbus right this minute but I return tomorrow. Send me a PM if you wanna chill sometime. I used to work at Oasis Bowling as a pin tech. I might be able to get a hook up for cheap rates. That way I don't have to drive 45 miles one way to Old Roswell Rd. We might even start our OWN Thur. Night meet. What do you guys think of that, HUH!? Just kidding, I love you guys... not in that homo way either... more like that of a vegetarian who sees a Boca burger.
