Supercharged RSX vs. speed3

Since I can't see this video, I would guess the S/C RSX won. If so, it probably did because it's making like 230-260 to the wheels on like 6-8 psi and weighs 2800 lbs.

Questions:

Is 6-8psi on a S/C more power than say 16psi on a Turbo?

That car is pushing around 280-300WHP. A RSX with a greddy kit at 9psi would be a dead even race against a Supercharged RSX like the one in the vid.

Smaller pulley is around 11psi on those S/C's.

If I'm not mistaken laloosh is only trapping 103-104mph in that vid. Laloosh would have a better chance now against that RSX 111-112mph traps, thanks to the 2psi/fuel pump..............:FTMFW

so basically when more air comes in in you intake than more powere you get in psi type?

The key difference between a turbocharger and a supercharger is its power supply. Something has to supply the power to run the air compressor. In a supercharger, there is a belt that connects directly to the engine. It gets its power the same way that the water pump or alternator does. A turbocharger, on the other hand, gets its power from the exhaust stream. The exhaust runs through a turbine, which in turn spins the compressor (see How Gas Turbine Engines Work for details).

I'll help you here. Need more info and want more specific definition of both. SEARCHIT UP.

This is what makes power for a turbocharger
