Aluminum does create an oxide layer, which then in-turn protects it.
The stainless exhausts are great, just they weigh a fair bit more, and cost alot more.

Now, this is getting tricky. On-end, it just blows away with the high-freq start, then purrs like a kitten...
Some shim stock, not sure it can be welded butt-joint like the blades, maybe with a backing of copper.

You have to move, move with this crap. First try was comical, second turned out alot better.
