Any cigar smokers?

Of those I've had the Gurkha which was a nice decent smoke. I've had the RP which I liked, I've had the Indian Tabac and don't think it's anything special. The Vegas is a keeper, I enjoy those. I'm assuming there was a typo and by "CAD" you may have meant CAO? If I'm wrong my apologies but if it is CAO I love anything from them. I recommend the Brazilia's personally.

As for the rest, never smoked them. Decent selection though. Let's get together and smoke soon

Yah, CAO not CAD. LOL

Here's a pic of her, fully stocked. As you can see, it's a small humidor.

what are good web sites to buy from?

I'm lucky enough to have a great cigar shop by me but I like to compare prices form time to time.

You can check out jrcigars, or cigar.com. Cigar.com sometimes runs a little high though they do have some great deals from time to time. Then there is cigarbid.com. Basically everything they sell there starts at a dollar and you bid until the closing date. I've picked up fivers that run for $30 generally for $7 so its a great site to catch a good deal, but its also very hard as there are other who are willing to pay more to out bid you. If you do go there, one word of advice: never overbid yourself more then you wanted to. Another one will come along, so just wait for that.

Went to a BBQ/party last night. . .one of my friends brought some cigars and we all lite up. I got a Cuesta Rey 898 from his stash (I asked for the mildest cigar in his bunch) and it was very good.

had the Vegas Gold today. very nice cigar. Though, I think the thicker shorter cigars are not my fav. Would have prefered a smaller longer one or smaller shorter one. LOL

I generally go for the 5-6 x 54 sizes. The first number being the length, the second number being the ring gauge.

Here's what came in my sampler:

- Felipe Dominicana 'T' (6" x 52)
- Fonseca 5-50 (5" x 50)
- Gurkha Connecticut Reserve Robusto #4 (6" x 50)
- Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Double Corona (7.5" x 52)
- Perdomo Reserve La Tradicion Sun Grown 'C' (6" x 54)
- Slow-Aged 826 by Perdomo Glorioso (6" x 52)

For $10 that's one hell of a sampler.

Just finished the CAO cigar. . .I see why it's your Fav gripper.

While smoking it I thought I could taste nuts and a hint or either coffee or chocolate. I just checked their site, and it was a CAO Gold and it was "a smooth buttery flavor laced with vanilla, cream and nutmeg.. ."

so I was kind of able to taste the nutmeg and the vanilla or cream. Definately gonna have to pick up some more of these. I wanna say it was a 45 x 6 or x 7 (it was the length or my left 4 fingers plus about 3.5 more. LOL - a highly technical and accurate measurement system. )

I forgot about this thread, haha.

Yeah, CAO Gold's are good. If your looking for a more full-bodied cigar go for the CAO Brazilia. I'd say the Italia is in between the too and a very good smoke for an everyday thing.

had an hour to kill after work tonight in Arlington Heights, and I stopped in a tobacco shop. Picked up a proper ashtray (i've been using a cut open water bottle with a little bit of water in it)

Also picked up 2 CAO Gold's and an Acid Blondie. Smoked the blondie tonight. . .very sweet cigar. Not too sure on it though. I like the sweetness of it, but not sure i'd pick up up again, at least for a while anyways.

still gotta get through the other cigars in from my sampler first, but for a guaranteed good smoke I won't hesitate to go to the CAO gold.

=D

I've never had an Acid, but I've always been told to stay away from them. I recently picked up the newly released CAO America. Not to shabby. I don't think I would buy a lot of them, but it didn't let me down. I've never had any problems with any cigar from CAO, they seem to know what there doing :)

new stuff, not pictured 5vegas gold and nat sherman. all mild medium. i wanna try something full bodied but i dont know what to get.
