I think i have done more than enough to these car, i think its time to Pimp and have fun with it, if i try to upgrade every single screw these s*** will never end.. there is lots of s*** i can still do, but i already got to the final road of putting money and mods, believe Maxx these s*** its already Too Insane, ask LUNATIK and ALEJO_NIN what Insane in these car is and means !!!!

Just relax. There should be some dyno and vids eventually, which is why I said get some up because I knew someone eventually will call BS on it. This is why I don't go public on stuff that isn't documented yet. He's just excited over his setup and wanted to show people. W/o the evidence its all hearsay. Take it with a grain of salt.

IMO, the parts list & work done speaks for itself. So what, he put in the wrong turbo model number & people's hp calculators start sounding the BS alarms. I woulda went with a couple more items as has been suggested but we're nowhere near the science fiction as people are wantin to take this. More power to ya, mad props on the money drops. Get that oil pan & LSD & take on a new continent.

No offense or anything but I'm a bit curious about why not on upgrading the oil pan seeing how far you went with the rest of the motor. If for no other reason than just having more oil available. I know you don't autoX but still, that motor deserves more than 4 quarts of oil doesn't it? I would do everything possible to protect the investment in the car you've made. Again, mad props on what you've done there.

I've heard horror stories about AWR Oil pan, that's why I didn't put it on the car, also the Quaife LSD, i didn't put it on, cause how i have my lsd welded on both sides with cryo treatment it's enough, if it breaks someday then i'll do the quife. I mean maxx call me stupid for not having the AWR Oild pan installed, if i don't have something you do don't make me or you stupid, the best question and answer is after reading the list of stuff i've done to the car is that if you don't see it listed or installed it's for a reason, we didn't forgot about it or couldn't afford it. we did it for a reason believe me. !!!!!!

Ummmmmm... Ya! Why get defensive? I look at it like this:

I personally have spent about $60,000 on my car (inc. the car itself, duh!) and I think that a $300 part is cheap insurance againt a REALLY common problem with the engine in stock form. WHen you increase the power, that's even MORE reason to go the extra mile. I dunno, I might be out of line here, but this is like someone's engine blowing because they didnt spend the extra $20 on colder plugs. It's happened, jsut don't let it happen to you because of an oil pan.

Trust me, I've gone through 3 engines in my car including the stock one. 2 of which were forged. I know the FS inside and out, and that stock oil pan will not cut it!!!

It does, but it doesn't. Read the thread I started a LONG while back on it, and I've had mine on now for a year, no problems... I was worried too, but AWR and other members here assured me it was fine, and now a season later I see it's true.

What "horror stories" are there of the AWR pan? Please elaborate...
