MI Fun Drive II-'07; October 21, 2007

I was forced over the curb friday and now need to order new parts. My front right steering knuckle, spindle and bearing so I may or may not be at the drive depending on how long it takes the shop to get the parts in and install them. I'm really pissed and and hopefully the Di*k that forced me off the road dies a terrible death. Anyways count me in, but chances are I'll post again closer to the end of the week to let everyone know I will not be able to make it. Thanks

Where do you stay at? I can probably come pick you up and ride up to the meet.
 
I talked to the body shop and they said that they recieved approval from the insurance company so they ordered the parts earlier today. They told me it should take 2-3 days to get the parts in and i told the guy that i need my car back by the weekend. He assured me that I'd have it back by then. Hopefully I'll be able to install the new cai and see you all on sunday morning!
Btw, thanks a lot for the offer EMPIRE, if anything comes up I'll defanately let you know and take you up on the offer.

I think this is the most Mazda's I've seen on the list in a long time.

Just curious how many will actually show. Every drive its always seems like someone gets drunk and can't wake up or forgets about it and we only have about half of the signed up members. I just wish once we'd get close to 100% participation...
 
I know I will be there for sure. I will be in Saturday night and I will most likely be staying at the Holiday Inn in Canton.

I agree with you it's the same here in OHIO. We set up a meet in Columbus and only 4-5 people show up.
 
I talked to the shop earlier today and my ms3 should be done by around 5 p.m. Asuming everything goes well and everything is fixed I'll be getting my car back today. I plan on installing the cai which has been sitting in my room for the last two weeks tomorrow. Go for a drive on Saturday to make sure everything runs well and with a little luck I'll be able to make the meet Sunday morning. I'm having a hard time waiting and I look forwadr to the drive. BTW, I was looking at weather conditions and it's supposed to be a dry sunny day. Hope to see everyone there!

Now you went and did it. You just jinxed the weather. I've been excitedly watching the forecast but specifically avoided mentioning it.

Only have 38,000 on it, I think its time to put some miles on it.
